Holly Ragan
Holly Ragan was born and raised in Mokane, MO, a small river town in central MO. She lived in Iowa for a bit where she attended college before moving back to central Missouri and working in veterinary medicine for a decade. She spent her thirties managing a small cow-calf operation in the Ozark foothills in addition to her full time work off the farm. She has more than twenty-five years of experience in customer service focused fields, and has been with Veterans United since September of 2019. Holly is no stranger to hard work and brings that work ethic to every interaction with the Veterans she works with to get them into the home of their dreams.
In her free time, she enjoys being outside, working in her yard, riding her horse, camping, float trips, wild food foraging including hunting and fishing, travel and reading. Holly has earned a reputation in her time here at Veterans United for being not only knowledgeable, hard working, and a VA loan expert, but also as someone who genuinely cares about every person she works with and getting Veterans into homes. I started with Holly and Veterans United as a back up plan as I was having issues with Rocket Pro TPO. It was refreshing to speak with someone honestly and receive the same honesty in turn. After initially comparing Loan Estimates between both companies Rocket Pro TPO was better. Holly was a professional about it and simply said we have you on file and if things change out doors are still open to you. Rocket Pro TPO notified the Title company 1 day before closing that they could not complete the loan as it stood. The bottom line, I was notified from my representative that essentially they created a deal that was not legal possible and that the Rocket Pro TPO team did not catch it to the last moment . Let me be clear, Rocket Pro TPO has never officially communicated with me. We were 3 days past closing when I had them transfer my appraisal to Veterans United at which point they acted shocked.
Enter Veterans United , Holly, and Melissa. Now a lot had already been done but they took me from start to close in 5 working days, fully funded. As far as the deal and numbers were concerned they were actually better by closing. To sum it up I appreciated the level of communication and direct honesty with no sales language when issues arrived. Just honest solutions that had been sought out with my best interest in mind.Rocket Pro TPO offered me a deal that was not legal and couldn’t be done and Veterans United provided me the best deal legally possible with an interest rate .75 less than I expected.Hey Boss man these ladies and their team supporting them need some recognition!Thanks

The way Holly operates, she reminds me or my wife who is a former IRS Auditor. Pays attention to detail, knows the numbers, and is very thorough in her work with a friendly smile! Even with a great sense of humor! HOLLY IS THE BEST!! I'm a Union Electrician in the IBEW, and it was a blessing to have her as a former Union worker also, even being in a different trade she understands how things work. She also kept in contact the whole way through, even on the weekends and vacation! We even got a welcoming gift delivered to our new home! I'm sure Holly had something to do with that! Thanks Holly!
