Veterans United named one of the country's Best Workplaces for Millennials

July 6, 2016

Columbia, Mo. — Veterans United Home Loans is proud to announce Great Place to Work® and Fortune have named it No. 19 on the 100 Best Workplaces for Millennials in 2016.

Veterans United earned a place on this list based on Millennial team members' responses to anonymous survey questions asking about the levels of trust, pride and camaraderie they experience in the workplace.

We want to provide a work experience that encourages our employees across all generations to strive to be their best self, both at work and in life, said Dr. Amanda Andrade, chief people officer for Veterans United. It's easy to see our Millennials in every part of the company embrace the opportunity to give it their best. Knowing that they feel a true sense of camaraderie and trust is confirmation that we are all working as a team and as friends to help our service members secure homeownership. That's something we feel great about.

The 100 Best Workplaces for Millennials list was published by Great Place to Work® and Fortune in conjunction with two related lists the 20 Best Workplaces for Gen X and the 20 Best Workplaces for Baby Boomers.

There are more similarities than differences when it comes to what different generations want in a great workplace, said Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work®. Our research shows that company pride, a sense of community and competent, ethical leadership can bring Millennials, Gen Xers and Baby Boomers together for a great, high-performing workplace.

The 100 Best Workplaces for Millennials is one of a series of rankings by Great Place to Work® and Fortune based upon employee survey feedback from Great Place to Work®-certified organizations.
