Veterans United Foundation Gave Over $450,000 Toward Hurricane Relief Efforts in North Carolina and Florida

Columbia, MO – Veterans United Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Veterans United Home Loans, proudly announces donations totaling over $450,000 that went to multiple charitable organizations and individuals in the states of North Carolina and Florida to aid communities impacted by hurricanes Helene and Milton. The funds were donated before the end of 2024 with the intent to support essential recovery efforts, including housing, food security, and rebuilding infrastructure.

The aid was distributed among reputable charitable organizations actively working on hurricane relief in affected areas. These organizations focus on providing immediate assistance, such as emergency shelter and food supplies, as well as long-term support like home repairs and community restoration.

Even though the storms have passed, the recovery efforts are still ongoing. Veterans United encourages all companies, organizations, and individuals with the means to continue to assist as able.

Additionally, a total of $77,000 in direct support was distributed to Veterans United employees, family members and customers in afflicted communities.

“We are deeply grateful to Veterans United for this generous donation and unwavering partnership,” said Rebecca Gordon, Executive Director of the American Red Cross of Central and Northern Missouri. “Together, we are able to advance the Red Cross mission and provide help and hope to those recovering from Hurricanes Helene and Milton.”
