Highly recommend taking the plunge!

Communication was extremely poor. I was constantly having to call and email and call and call again w unanswered questions. I would explain something to my 'loan coordinator' and it would still be on my to do list for days. The whole To Do List was deceptively slick. In the end I felt it bordered on harrassment; because issues would seemingly be resolved but wait nope there it is again on the To Do List. Gotta take care of that to do list, even tho the task was supposed to have been removed by the loan coordinator. I was harrassed for things not even related to my account (a water test that was for another veteran!)Closing was delayed; I don't think I even found that out not even a week prior to the date.I never spoke to my loan coordinator even once, even though I left multiple messages for him to call me back.I still don't know how to set up my mortgage payments. There's a fee that was supposed to be waived because I am 100% disabled - I have no idea if that actually happened. Haley was 'unsure' and Donald never called me back.I had to jump through all sorts of hoops last minute to procure a bank check on a Friday afternoon for a Monday morning closing because no one could give me an actual dollar amount. My realtor was so out of communication I get a text from her the day AFTER closing saying 'did you close?'. Meanwhile she was constantly bragging how she found me my dream home - no she didn't!!! My mom's friend found it on Zillow!!!The appraisal was late, the inspection process was confusing and not properly explained, my house was not properly cleaned upon the move in date.....I feel I could go on but this is starting to affect my blood pressure.

Carrie and Nina answered all our questions in a prompt and courteous manner. Carrie also made herself and her replies to our emails in what was probably off hours. VU made this transaction and step forward In shortening our mortgage through refi, low to no stress and efficient. Carrie and Nina took time to address all of our concerns. Two thumbs up to Carrie and to VU. I personally would recommend ( and I never do this) both VU and Carrie. Cheers.

The people that I dealt with, Charlie, brad, mike and the whole team, made this very stressful step in buying at my age(60), any issue that I had, was answered and the answer explained leaving me stress free throughout the entire process. Incredible people who have done an incredible job, my thanks and appreciation.

Great experience, despite the stumbling blocks experienced because of the Covid Pandemic. True professionals.

The home buying process is long and arduous, but working with Veterans United really cut down on a lot of the confusion and alleviated stress as it arose. The team we had was very responsive and willing to answer all of our questions.

The home buying process is a pain but veterans united came through.
