On original contact, I was promised no origination fee and no points with a better mortgage rate than competitors. Neither of those promises were kept. We continued with VU only because we didn't have the energy to go through the process again and we were under time constraints.

Veterans United made the home buying process for us first time home buyers very easy! I have only bought a home twice in my life and both times was with VU. Both times were exceptionally made uncomplicated by VU's wonderful customer service, quick response time and the ease of use of their portal. Overall a great experience, would definitely recommend VU to anyone but especially veterans as their knowledge of VA loans/ process is one of the key factors I choose to use VU.
