While VU is a great place to start. When you do your refinance I would suggest looking into other agencies for a better rate. I felt like mine was still a little high when I refinanced with VU, and as a it was my first time refinancing I didn’t know I could look elsewhere.

Very happy with the outcome. Everything went smooth. Got a 2 month break on payments. We are very excited. We were able to buy a new fridge and paint the kitchen and dinning room. next is a new washer and dryer.

On my initial loan, I checked out Veteran's United on a whim. Fahad reached out and started me on the process of purchasing my most recent home. He reached out later, when he could get me a lower interest rate on my loan. I would definitely recommend Veteran's United for any Vet out there.

Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. Jaimie and her team were very up front from the start and they got things completed very quickly. There is a concern I do have though. During the process we ran into some issues. There was a few times we were submitting paperwork that was previously submitted. We felt there was some issues with one representative that didn’t seem very well prepared. This made it frustrating from time to time. I don’t mind getting paperwork submitted but it should only need to be done once.


This refinance was so easy and quick. I couldn't ask for a better team.
