I do not fault Veteran's United - but this application effort was delayed beyond "Normal" due to late, strung well out Water Well Contingencies. I reported "My Rural Shared Waterwell early in this application - yet it became an issue unexpectedly way late in the process. I fault "Work at Home" VA Reviewers in Denver.
Interestingly - immediately after President Trump was Inagurated, signed a "Return to Work, end Work From Home" policy for Government Employees - magically on a specific day just afterwards - mine and other V.A. Applications appear to have been "Approved" in mass. Brandon communicated regularly, performed very well in this ordeal!
But I am a mere 100% Disabled Veteran, how would I know anything. (Leukemia due to Military Chemical Exposure).
My application went far beyond the time to close expected.... from 2024 to 2025 actually. However, All funds recieved and I am very pleased. Respectfully,
Charlie Brodie

I have not had a good experience refinancing as I am now at a point where I no longer have flood insurance as the loan process got drug out until my flood insurance expired and veterans united cancelled the escrow payment to renew the flood insurance. When I called to get this corrected I was passed back and forth between their insurance dept and their escrow dept and told that the original escrow was closed so they couldn't help me I was then placed on hold where they disconnected the phone call on me.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Franklin,
I’m so sorry to hear about the issues you’ve faced during your refinance, especially with your flood insurance and the challenges you had trying to get this resolved. I can only imagine how stressful and frustrating it must have been to feel passed around between departments, only to have your call disconnected. That’s not the level of care or service we strive to provide, and I truly apologize for the inconvenience this caused.
Your situation is important to me, and I’d like my team to take a closer look to better understand what happened and see if there’s anything we can do to make things right. If you’re open to it, please reach out to us directly at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We take feedback like yours seriously and want to use it to improve the experience for others in the future.

Thank you for all the help! This is the 4th time I’ve worked with. Veterans United and won’t buy/refinance any other way!

Utilizing Veterans United has been a great experience. Every interaction with them makes it seems like we are friends.

Through and to the point, we like the details and made us feel confident in our decision. Rob Deleeuw and his team keep us informed through our buying and refinancing process. Highly recommended!

Home buying and all it entails is overwhelming to say the least… but Billy Jones with Veteran’s United is our home buying super hero! When you work with Billy (and we suggest you do) no questions are left unanswered, no stone unturned. We have purchased a couple houses and have done a refinance with Veteran’s United, and always choose to work with Billy and his Dream Team. We wouldn’t have it any other way. Even my children got excited when we closed on the house because they knew a thoughtful gift from VU was coming in the mail JUST for them to enjoy in our new place. 11/10. 5 stars.

Thank you all so very much for helping me out.

These are the people you want to work with to make home owning a reality!!!! They help you through everything and if you have questions or concerns they are quick to get you feeling confident! Thanks team!
