I wouldn't imagined in million years that I would be a home owner. Thanks to Veterans United and my realtor made this all possible!

I have personally bought and sold 4 different homes. Veterans United is by far the best I've worked with. Love how everything was broken down into steps and no stone left unturned so to speak. Each team member that helped me knew their job very well. This was simply a truly great buying experience.. and I know from experience how stressful buying a home can be. Thank you to Kyle and his team. Thank you Veterans United.

This whole process was made super easy and stress free thanks to everyone at Veterans United! The personalized package that was sent to us on our closing day was an amazing way to end the whole process!

Overall was a great experience was fast and non-stressful, I would highly recommend veterans United to anyone that is looking for a home because overall it was a very great experience

If your thinking about buying a home then do not hesitate to call Nick Holman with Veterans United you will not be disappointed.

My team was phenomenal! The process was very efficient and there was very minimal stress. The app is so helpful as well. I love the “to-do list”, it kept everything organized. The added information about different parts of the process definitely helps you understand everything that is going on behind the scenes. My team worked with my realtor effortlessly. All in all, I would highly recommend Veteran’s United to anyone! They even gave me a free coffee 😏

Everybody was amazing and made the process very easy to understand and everyone was very responsive to any and all questions I had.

From start to finish, working with Veterans United Home Loans was an incredibly positive and smooth experience. I had the pleasure of working with Matthew Perona, Matt Hudson, and Allie Poletti, and I can’t say enough great things about them. Each one of them was responsive, informative, and genuinely supportive throughout the entire process. They were always available to answer my questions, provide clear explanations, and follow up consistently to make sure everything was on track. Their communication was top-notch, and it really made the experience feel personal and stress-free.
There was a bit of a hiccup early on with the real estate agent, who unfortunately did not follow up with me or assist in my home search as expected which led to me having to look for homes on my own. While this was initially frustrating, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise.
I ended up finding an amazing home and, even more fortunately, was able to work with the sellers’ agent, Melinda Crosslin and her son Corey Crosslin. Not only did Melinda step up and act as buyer’s agent for me, but Corey really went above and beyond in every way. Melinda’s previous experience working with Veterans United gave me an added layer of confidence and reassurance, knowing I was in great hands on all sides. The level of care and professionalism she and Corey provided truly made the rest of the process a joy.
Veterans United’s reputation as a lender was clearly recognized and respected throughout the transaction, which made everything flow smoothly. I’m incredibly grateful to the team I had supporting me and would highly recommend Veterans United—especially the dream team of Matthew Perona, Matt Hudson, and Allie Poletti—to any fellow veteran looking to buy a home.
Thank you all for making this milestone such a positive experience!

Thanks VU for being there for me and my family through this entire process.

My experience with working with veterans united has been such a great experience, I would highly recommend them for all your home buying expectations.

I’ve heard so many bad stories about how stressful it is to buy a home. With our team we didn’t have that problem, our process was smooth and easy. The communication was great and effective. Thank you all so much!!!! WE LOVE OUR NEW HOME and we couldn’t have done it without our team’s guidance. All praise to God and you all.

Veteran United needs to do a better job when working with Soldiers that are overseas. A lot of issues could have been prevented if they understood on how to work with overseas Service Members. There was alot of time waisted for signing the closing documents the title person Kim King was the worst she had no empathy and demanded that things were done in a timely manner as someone who would be in the states even as I explained multiple times that I was overseas. She had an attitude at times and by the end I only found out that everything with the closing documents went through because my realtor and Andrea informed me. I recieved no notification from anyone that reviewed this. I would never recommend Veteran United and as a matter of fact I've already told a few colleagues that were looking to buy to stay away, since the way I was treated and how all this went was horrible. They did honor the expenses for my sister traveling to Hattiesburg to sign on my behalf but that was the least the could've done since it was in vain since at the end I had to sign by mail in and this could've been the way to do it since day one instead of having me send POAs and one incorrect closing signing documents which overall cost me over 150 dollars. I am still thinking on submitting a complain to the VA since the whole process was unacceptable.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Edwin,
First off, I just want to say I’m really sorry for how frustrating and exhausting this process was — especially while you were overseas. You deserved a smoother experience, and I completely understand how the lack of communication and flexibility around your unique situation made a tough process even harder.
Working with deployed or overseas Service Members is something we take very seriously, and it’s clear we didn’t meet the mark this time. Your time and service should’ve been met with more understanding, especially when it came to navigating POAs, closing logistics, and making sure you were in the loop every step of the way. I hate that you had to carry the burden of extra costs and confusion — it just shouldn't have played out like that.
I’d really like for my team to have the chance to look into what happened here and make sure your concerns are heard. If you’re open to it, please reach out to us at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. We’re in the office from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST, Monday through Friday, and we’d appreciate the opportunity to learn from this and do better.
Veterans United and their team of home buying professionals are the creme de le creme when it comes to helping Veterans become home owners. Its like having the 4 time Super Bowl Champions Kansas City Chiefs as your home buying team and ensuring you reach your Super Bowl of owning and closing your dream home where you are the MVP. I would highly recommend them to all my family and friends any day of the week!
