This was the first time I had the opportunity to buy a house, my friend recommended Veterans United to me and I contacted them in March of 2024. It may seem like it is a long time between contact and closing, however it is not. My wife and I had a few credit issues to take care of and were given a time frame of even qualifying for a house until February 2025. In October I reached out to Veterans United Senior Credit Consultant Michelle Mueller, to let her know where we were on our home buying journey. She let me know that we were almost there in mid-October and ran another check for us on November 1, 2024; to our surprise we were approved to start home shopping. We found a house rather quickly and had everything moving towards close in very short order. In NY it is not uncommon for a closing to take 90 days or more due to all the professionals that must be involved. We closed on January 17, 2025, and moved in the next day. It was not only Veterans United, but our Lord Jesus that opened doors we could not open, and closed doors that needed closed.
Getting a VA loan via Veterans United is a no brainier. As a matter of fact, it's the right way to go!

Tony Davis, Julie Cute, and Ben Lowrey were an absolute stellar team to work with! Their kindness and attentiveness made this process as stress free as possible.Tony went above and beyond to walk us through the financial aspect of buying a home. I was worried that this would be stressful but Tony was sure to make the process easy from beginning to end. Tony was always very responsive, extremely knowledgeable, and addressed any questions and concerns we had along the way. Tony was very personable and we got to know a little bit about one another’s families. He was a pleasure to work with!Julie was also absolutely amazing to work with. She took time to get to know our family and make sure we had everything we needed to close on our new home as promptly as possible. She was very responsive, hard working, and kind. She always found the answers to anything we threw her way. Julie remembered little details about our daughter and put together a beautiful package with woodland themed baby books and gifts to match her nursery.Ben was also very kind and attentive. Thankfully he was right there to remind us of the little things you would tend to forget about. Ben was quick to provide us with the information for finding movers, forwarding mail, life insurance, setting up tv and internet. He was very helpful and made the whole process come together in the end! We appreciate his hard work and help with wrapping everything up.It was an absolute pleasure to work with and get to know everyone on the team! They were all very professional, thoughtful, hard working, knowledgeable, and kind. Their hard work and dedication to our family did not go unnoticed! I would 10 out of 10 recommend their team to help anyone looking to purchase a home. They made us feel confident throughout the entire process and closed the deal with ease! We are so thankful for everything they’ve done!!
