No matter how frustrating the process got, and even the few times I lost myself and got aggravated. They still did everything they could and got the job done.
This is my 3 rd home purchase with VU. Primary home and 2 investment homes. Outstanding support and easy to use TO DO page, Secure unlink page and more features.
Pleasantly surprised with communications and follow up after closing, for all homes.
However, underwriting team became difficult with requesting financial information from my wife who was not part of the financing process for investment homes.
Finance team should be part of closing / signing via zoom/video to complete the process. They are a big part of the process for many weeks or months.

Thank you to the whole team at Veterans United. It started out some four months ago when a relative’s former home went for sale. At the time, it seemed to be a pipe dream that I thought was still years away from being possible. VU went above and beyond to make that dream a reality.
I only remark that I would not recommend Veterans United is that there were better options with local lenders that I did not take. I was not impressed with the outsourcing of insurance information and floodplain survey information. That is not the loan teams' fault in any way. I was only disappointed that the information was erroneous, and the Veterans United insurance plans were astronomically more expensive that other insurance options that offer similar coverage. There were also lapses of communication regarding outstanding loan requirements leading to a timeline shift in the closing.
Veterans united was a big help. Help me with everything I didn't know. We can't be any happier with our new home.
