Nick Holman
I am originally from St. Louis, Mo. and am a faithful St. Louis and Mizzou sports fan. I was active duty in the Marine Corps from 2003-2008 and deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from late ¹06 to early ¹08. Upon returning home from my deployment I separated from the Marine Corps to attend school at the University of Missouri. Throughout my tenure at the University I stayed active in multiple organizations advocating for veteran¹s rights. Just prior to graduating with my Bachelor of Sciences degree I learned of Veterans United and saw an opportunity to provide for my family while being able to continue working with veterans. While attending school I met my wife Jessica, who is an Air Force veteran and we had a daughter, Makayla in August of 2012 and identical twin boys, Alex and Mattis in April of 2014. Whenever I¹m not working to get veterans into their dream homes I spend all of my available time with my family.

Nick made me feel so safe going through this process. I have trust issues and I can be pretty pessimistic about things, but Nick was wonderful in explaining everything to me, giving me updates on the process at every stage. He really listened to my concerns and focused on allaying them. He was also very proactive preemptive, bringing up questions that I had but hadn’t been able to formulate and verbalize yet. He was kind and approachable without being the overly enthusiastic, over bearing “salesman” type. I could let my guard down.
