Toby was very educational throughout this process, and as a first time buyer he really helped me out through the whole thing and made life easy.
Very easy to talk to and offered up all information. Kept me comfortable and informed during the whole process. Answered all my questions and was very polite!
Excellent communication, informative
Very helpful and expedient in answering questions.
Mr. Sullivan's & Mr. Schlottach's demeanor, while professional, did little to alleviate the considerable burden placed upon me throughout this process. Despite my clear and thorough efforts to provide ample documentation of my active-duty military status – information readily verifiable and standard for those familiar with DoD programs – I was subjected to a level of scrutiny and questioning that was not only unwarranted but deeply unsettling. It was disheartening to have to dedicate significant time, while deployed and operating in a different time zone and hemisphere, to compile and resubmit information that was seemingly ignored or misunderstood. The fact that I had to resort to copying and pasting sections of Army regulations and even extending an invitation to contact the program office managing my sabbatical, speaks volumes about the lack of familiarity with the program even after thoroughly explaining it.Mr. Schlottach's assurances of a "smooth process" prior to my deployment proved to be completely hollow, adding insult to injury. The constant uncertainty and lack of clear communication, particularly from Toby and Mark, created an unacceptable level of stress during an already challenging time. My partner, four months pregnant and grappling with the anxieties of our impending home purchase, was also unnecessarily burdened by the team's inability to provide timely and accurate information. The fact that this disregard for my situation continued up until the very day of closing – requiring me to scramble for basic wiring instructions the night before – is simply unprofessional and indicative of a larger systemic issue. Rather, my partner had to shoulder the task of figuring out closing costs due to the wiring instructions not being provided to me in a timely manner. I would like to re-remind the reader that I am deployed, and I do not have the luxury of sitting around all day for an email. The required information to wire the closing costs could have simply been sent to me the day / days before actual closing. This experience, fraught with unnecessary hurdles and anxieties, should serve as a case study for management to ensure that no other service member endures such disrespect and disregard. A thorough review and implementation of corrective measures are imperative.
Very helpful and responds quick
Toby and the entire team was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They were very responsive and always supported me through the entire process. The kicker was the thoughtful welcome gift they got me that was extremely personal. It was like working with a caring family member and did everything in their power to get the best outcome for me. A 10 is still too low for the team that I worked with.
