The process went so smooth and fast in the end I even got money back in the end..
Great experience, the website/app made it all seamless and at a fingers touch. I have never had such an easier closing, even the title company were surprise how easy and not so much documentation.
1. Should have informed me that there was such a thing as a 1 time rate reduction if the rates dropped before our final close. I would have at least like to know it was an option for a small fee to reduce my risk. Don't know how far the rates fell because I can not see the VA Jumbo rate. Would be nice in these tough times to have the opportunity now and in the future with a rare reduction to refinance.

My husband & I really appreciate what VU has done for us. We talked to two lenders before reaching out to VU and neither one of them were able to get us approved for the amount that we needed. We now own a cozy little waterfront property in Wisconsin and we still can’t believe that it is ours. This has truly been the best home buying process for us compared to our past purchases.

Everyone was surprisingly fast to respond. I say surprisingly because I wasn't the only one they were helping, I'm sure.
Veterans United just sort of fell into our laps. We had zeroed in on an area in Illinois and were greatly intrigued by one specific home. I clicked off on "see if you qualify" and was contacted by Michael Pitts and his team; best contact we could have made. This team - and I do mean each and every member - gave us the confidence to proceed and the expertise to help us over the small bumps in the road towards our qualification, loan approval, through the closing process, and the various requirements one needs in setting up a new home more than 2000 miles from the previous one. I don't recall ever telling any of the team that we were bringing 10 (yes, ten!) cats with us in a U-Haul trailer, but today, the day after our closing, a package arrived from tha Veterans United team. Inside were number of cat toys, catnip bags and food treats. Sure, it's good customer relations, but what an individualized treat for us. This kind of follow through seems rare today, but this team has it all and they gave their all. My wife, daughter, cats, and I can not too highly praise their efforts and recommend them without reservation.Rick & Sally Hartwell, and entourage.
