The process should be more user friendly, often time we forget the common sense factor and forget to take into account the human factor. Buying a home is stressful enough, the least the team can do is try to not take everything as black and white and be flexible. I felt as if my integrity was in question often during this process along with feeling as if I was being discriminated against because I am a black women with a great paying job at a reputable company. I would never recommend VU to another veteran.
I can’t express enough how grateful I am to everyone at VU. There were so many issues throughout the home building process and none of them were caused by VU. On the contrary, VU helped resolve and speed up the process. They returned my calls and messages, worked around my hectic work schedule, and were always professional. During the closing process, there were email strings between the Builder, construction loan Bank and VU where the first two became unprofessional. I was impressed with how VU responded; respectfully and direct. They are exactly how a business should operate. I’m so very thankful for y’all.

Had a few issues with the loan coordinator not listening to us about what we had already paid for, got more communication from our loan officer. Also was having an issue with our water test from the loan coordinator, 6 days before closing, but our loan officer and realtor got it taken care of.
Victoria and her team were amazing to work with! We definitely recommend any other veteran needing to but a home to use them!
From start to finish the home buying process is exhausting, but it was much less stressful than we had anticipated thanks to the Veterans United team. Sometimes it seemed like the "to-do" list would never end, but we understand there are numerous documents required to complete the process.
You are life changing. You said “Yes” when four other lenders said “No”. This mortgage will allow for a profound impact on my children’s lives by allowing them to live in a story book community and obtain an outstanding education which will benefit them long after I’m gone.

Before I went w/ veterans United I was shopping around and they gave me a higher amount and a lower percent but the process and personnel w/ Veterans United was a lot easier and I trusted the process completely and I couldn’t be even more grateful and happy that I made that decision. Thank you.

Everything went great. The only thing I would mention is that the Power of Attorney that was needed could have been could have been addressed sooner. I do not believe that this was the lender but communication between the Realtor, lender, and attorney to make sure these things are not being done last second would have been a little smoother. Other than that everything else was extremely professional and I was very impressed with service that was provided
