I very much appreciated my full Team, everyone was very helpful and worked hard to find the perfect property and close quickly even with a couple obstacles. I would 100% recommend each and every person on my Team!!!!

Never ever EVER have I felt this well taken care of as a customer like I did with Veterans United. My loan specialist Terri and her team went above and beyond when accommodating me and my home buying needs. I love the ease of being able to just text them when I had a question and getting a response immediately instead of having to email or make calls back and forth. I have nothing but great things to say about Veterans United and my loan specialist. Thank you for being so great and taking off so much stress of the home buying process!

I truly have no complaint about this whole process. Everything went smoothly and I would recommend to any of my veteran friends looking for a home. I couldn’t be more pleased with my loan team.

The work was done as quickly as possible, since the other real estate agent was not a real estate agent and just wanted her money. But as far as the whole process the loan fulfillment could not have been any better

everything was awesome no complaints.

If you're looking to buy go VETERANS UNITED! They do what they can to make your dream come true! We closed in 33 days! Tim Spears was amazing, highly recommend him. The experience of buying a home through veterans United was fairly simple, and quick! I had the pleasure of working with Tim Spears! He was awesome at making sure we knew exactly what to do and how to do it. Also provided tons of info and have contacts for other people to reach out to! Very down-to-earth and awesome person!

Communication on what was going on with the issue was not very good. Law firm, sellers agent and buyers were constantly calling me for updates.

Veteran untied made the whole process as easy as one could hope!

As a first time Homeowner and reaching the finish line of finally having been able to purchase my dream home thanks to my wonderful team at Veterans United is still an unbelievable feeling! Andrew, Kaitlyn & Allie were there with me every step of the way, making sure I always knew what was going on, very patient and honest, friendly, respectful of my work schedule and attentive. Qualities that are imperative in such a crucial process when buying a home. I had the most wonderful team and for them and Veterans United I am forever grateful!

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received during my recent purchase in September/October 2025. I found the experience highly unsettling and felt taken advantage of.During the purchase process, the interest rate dropped to 5.8%. I was explicitly informed by my loan officer that he would lock in this rate for me, with the possibility of it dropping further. Unfortunately, the rates increased back to over 6%, and I was ultimately financed at 6.628% instead of the promised 5.8%. Despite my representative's denial of committing to the 5.8% rate, I was assured otherwise, which led to significant disappointment as a first-time buyer. I sincerely play on words, and as a first time buyer, I was definitely fixated on the 5.8% and no one could tell me otherwise. I was very excited…At least at that point in time. Whatever happened to, “the phone calls are recorded for quality assurance purposes“? Pretty ironic that the phone call was not recorded.Additionally, the loan terms were altered before closing, with additional terms added, further complicating the situation. Given my circumstances, including having signed a second extension on my rental apartment and the impending expiration of my lease, I felt compelled to proceed despite my reservations (100% Disabled Veteran and family with special needs child). To add insult to injury—My daughter is attending college on a Volleyball scholarship…Veterans United sent a gift for BASKETBALL…smh. No, I’m not being ungrateful…I’m just being really mad and pissed off! FILTERED!Just goes to show and prove…It’s all about that “dollar bill”!I am profoundly disappointed with the service provided and believe that this company should not be associated with Any Veterans.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Darryl,
I’m really sorry that this experience left you feeling disappointed and frustrated. Buying a home should be an exciting milestone, especially as a first-time buyer, and I hate that you walked away from this process feeling misled. I’d really like my team to take a closer look at what happened with your rate lock and the changes to your loan terms before closing. If you’re open to it, please reach out to us at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com so we can talk through this.
I also hear your frustration about the gift. It was meant to be a small token of appreciation, but I can see how the mix-up might have made it feel impersonal. That’s on us, and I appreciate you sharing that feedback.
I know you put a lot of trust in us during this process, and I appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. I’d really hope we have the chance to learn more and see how we can do better.

Thanks for the work to help a veteran

I submitted a request for an estimate on what I qualify for, not expecting anything to come of it. But less than 60 days later I'm in the house of my wife and I's dream. Everything moved as smooth as possible. My designated team was on top of it every step of the way. And the user interface for uploading documents is so straightforward and easy to use. This is my first time buying a house and I couldn't be happier with the experience.

Overall, I would not hesitate to use VU again if/when I buy my next house. I was very apprehensive about using a lender that I couldn't physically meet with. The team however, was more available then when I had done my last loan in person. Also, rather than give me reasons why we couldn't do something, the team found ways to make things happen.

Oh boy where to start. Honestly was hesitant to use them. Now am glad I did. Explained to Matthew that we were just starting our look and he didn't push but let us know he was there. Once we said let's do it it was game on. Daily contact was a huge blessing. Do your to-dos people and they will do there part. Amazing job 30 days from bid to close. Matthew and his team were amazing as well as Laura and the Wind River Realty folks. YEEEEHAW.
