They do care about veterans and the team always showed their appreciation for my service to country and always bent over backwards to get my wife and I through the stressful adventure that is buying a house. Taylor Clark and Jeffery Howard were readily available to answer my questions and help me through whatever diffculties or confusion I was faced with. In fact, I called Taylor on his personal cellphone and discovered he was at home with family and sitting down to dinner. He was extremely courteous and took the time to answer my questions even though he was "off the clock."
When our first house we were beginning the process of purchasing burned down, the entire team contacted us and offered us sympathy and encouragement which ultimately led us to the home we finally purchased. Their personable and professional outlook is a testimony to their dedication in supporting veterans in their search for a home and smooth the path in the purchasing process.
As we say in the Navy to those who are stellar and outstanding in their actions: "Bravo Zulu! BZ!"

Under writing was not easy to work with. Not allowed to communicate with buyer or agent. Seemed they tried every reason NOT to give the loan when it should have been the easiest loan ever written. Very dissatisfied over all with VU.

I’m sorry and get where you’re coming from. Underwriting requests can often be cumbersome to work through. Communication between underwriters and anyone involved in the real-estate transaction is strictly prohibited during the loan process.
