The team was great, courteous, helpful and responsive to emails, texts and phone calls. Everything was excellent, until it wasn’t. The closing date got cancelled and pushed back. I wasn’t notified and it cost me time and money. Overall I would do business with them again, but be more wary of promises they can’t keep.

I truly thought this was going to be one of the most difficult, lengthy processes I have experienced, especially as a first time homebuyer. To say the VU Team made everything as easy and seamless as possible is an understatement. From start to finish, the team walked me through every step, answered every question. They made the process so easy, I think we closed in less than a month! It went so fast and easy, it certainly feels like it was less than a month. I would tell them if they had a hard time finding a loan, then you were the people to go through. But I would also tell them the difficulty it takes to get through everything you all want and how hard it is to understand some of you.
Maybe I’m wrong, but I expected more from a company with the name “Veterans” United. There are several other companies that I learned of closer to my closing date that offer things that this company did not. Overall it wasn’t a bad process and for the most part the staff responded relatively quickly. Bottom line recommendation, I’d do my research before committing any to a lender. As a veteran we’ve earned any and all benefits, discounts, etc…
