As a first time home buyer. I was pleased with the process. Veterans United made it easy, and my assigned specialist made sure that I understood each step. I would recommend them for any Veteran looking to buy a home.
Everyone should know that veterans United stated they only keep 30 to 40% of all mortgages they close on and the other percent get bought out by third-party lender’s. Milo got bought out by a company with over 500 one star reviews and multiple complaints and I have to Be charged to pay my mortgage should I choose to pay it at the time of my choosing I would recommend doing business locally it is not worth the headache to go through veterans United they are nice people but they’re out to make money and that’s what they did.

Veterans United is not set up to keep all loans for the long term, though we are working towards that goal, and in the meantime, we only work with servicers that we have a good working relationship with, which allows us to work together in case of any concerns regarding your loan. BUYING A HOUSE IS A VERY SCARY PROCESS. CARA CHAMBERLAIN WALKED ME THROUGH THE WHOLE THING AND DID EVERYTHING SHE COULD TO ENSURE THAT MY LOAN WAS APPROVED, PROCESSED, FUNDED AND CLOSED.
3rd time working with VU and never had a bad experience. They are very professional and look out for you.
The process and paperwork is a little overwhelming, but all worth it in the end.
