VU was so convenient, easy to work with, helpful and the website/App easy to navigate that if I ever have to buy a house again, I would use them again for sure. I was completely inexperienced in these matters and they walked me patiently through the entire process. I couldn’t be more thankful & happy with their service!

He really broke it down in a way that a simple construction worker could understand. they made the process as simple and as streamlined as possible. the "to do checklist" approach makes it a straightforward process of getting things done. Honestly, I think the blame lies with your corporate structure. You probably need to look two or three layers above Chris’s pay grade. And your underwriting department seems to be almost hostile towards small business owners. We’ve owned a business for several years and refinanced homes, and have never had the type of questions and scrutiny That we had with your company. At one point I told Kole that it seemed like the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. And I still believe that with your corporation. It was a very, very disappointing experience and highly stressful. It took the joy out of purchasing a new home.

Veterans United seems to understand the needs of veterans and their families on a level we've not encountered at other banks and credit unions. While the paperwork necessary to finance a home purchase is mountainous, the team working with us from Veterans United is always pleasant, patient, and positive. I have never felt as though I'd been put at the bottom of the list when I sought answers to my questions; someone on our team always responded in a timely manner. We appreciate that kind of support and customer service.
There have been horror stories about the home buying process with Veterans. My DREAM TEAM never left me uninformed; provided additional resources; included my family to ensure they knew what to expect and asked if they had questions. The inclusion for everyone was key, since I couldn't be present, due to my deployment. With the underwriter, Levi, another Veteran - he understood the assignment and my TEAM, did just that - ACED IT!!! They come highly recommended!!
