I am from St. Louis, but have been a Kansas Citian for the past 11 years. Go Chiefs! I have been married to my beautiful wife, Shannon, for five years. We have been blessed with two wonderful daughters, Rosie and Frannie. I am excited to utilize my background in education to ensure that the Veterans I work with not only have a successful and stress-free homebuying experience, but a full understanding of their benefits and the process at each and every turn. In my spare time, I love enjoying life with my family and friends, golfing, watching football and hockey, rock climbing, and generally any new opportunity that I encounter!

My process started 3 years ago with Steven, my credit consultant. Steven gave me a plan, but at first, there was no way; we would just keep renting. Steven called just to check in with me 4 months after he delivered my credit path to ownership. I did absolutely nothing, feeling like there was no way I could do this. Steven talked to me over the phone for around 30 minutes, explaining the process and what I needed to do. After that conversation and block of instruction, I received a call from Steven at least once a week about every negative creditor needing some kind of resolution until we hit all of the negative credit. He never gave up on his promise to me, explaining what needed to happen in each scenario. I was passed on to Andrew, who responded to my realtor and me on a Sunday (no voicemail or anyone else). The entire process with my team at Veterans United the all said contact me if i need anything or have questions.
My Loan Officer, Andrew Meyer, and his team were great. I had already given his info to a friend looking to buy less than a week after I closed on my own home because everything went so well. Even the title company was surprised at closing that everything with the lender was done beforehand and that the title company was the only group we were waiting on. They said "most of the time they're still waiting on the lender at closing and that VA loans are often filled with errors that need to be fixed." But our Veterans United team had everything completed well before our closing appointment. And the whole process went so smoothly with our purchase that Andrew and his team could have closed us in 15 days if my family and I weren't out of town on that day. Because of Veterans United, we were able to buy our house easier than it was buying our last vehicle!
Andrew and his team were able to expedite our closing to accommodate both the seller and our family. They made themselves available at all hours to accommodate our crazy schedules! We felt secure through the entire process/
Our team was amazing, Andrew really made this process easy, he constantly communicated with us and was always there to help us if we had any questions.
