Jordan has been with Veterans United since 2020, and is grateful for the opportunity to have earned the trust of so many veterans and active-duty service members and their families. Assisting in making the dream of home ownership a reality for our country’s heroes is a privilege he takes seriously. Raised on small town values, Jordan takes pride in honesty, hard work and never quitting until the job is done. Getting to know folks, their interests and their goals - and making the home buying process personal and practical is at the heart of everything he does.
Jordan enjoys spending time with his wife Lauren, and their daughter Natalie. He enjoys watching and playing sports and spending time outdoors playing golf, biking, floating/camping, hunting, and trail running. He also enjoys BBQing and cooking for his friends and extended family. Favorite BBQ? Let’s talk about it.

He was very hands on and maintained great communication. My house shopping was a long process and one of the reasons I stayed with VU is because of Jordan always checking in on me and letting me know he was ready when I was. Dealing with Jordan was like working with an old friend.
His negligence cost me $26,000. He lied, stating that we locked in my interest rate on July 30th over the phone and there are no phone records of us ever speaking on the 30th. I also changed the initial loan estimate box to "no" for lock interest rate which is the only document I ever legally signed regarding the interest rate. On the 5th or 6th of August I told him I'd like to see our interest rate again since I was getting notifications that rates were dropping. He said we locked it in and I told him I didn't think we ever spoke on the 30th. I also told him I clicked no to locking the interest rate. On my closing date (26 Aug) I asked him why the interest rate was still 6.25 instead of 5.75. He asked where I was getting 5.75 and I told him the veterans united website. He said that the interest rate had to be locked a week out of the closing date (which also contradicts his statement about locking it on the 30th). I told him that the veterans united website also said the interest "rate is 5.75 as of 26 Aug - the same as last week" and he asked where I was getting that info. I again told him the veterans united website. He said they had to make the best decision possible with the information they had. I told him, who made that? Because I was never involved in that decision or convo. I told him that I was getting screwed and he said he could see how I would feel that way but restated that veterans united does the best with the information they have regarding the future of interest rates. He said it was only $10 a month difference so it's not a big deal but I'm not above saving those ten dollars. I reached out to a customer advocate who said she would get answers on potential solutions (this is still the day of closing). Jordan called me back while I was driving to sign the closing documents and proposed two potential resolutions. One was for me to take $2,055 in credit so I'd receive around $500 after closing. The other was to have the interest rate lowered to 5.75 but closing would be delayed because It would take 3 days to adjust it. I asked him what how long it would take for me to save $2,055 with the lower interest rate and he said he couldn't get that info for me because he would have to change documentation. I told him I just needed help with the math and we didn't need to do any paperwork and he again insisted he couldn't help me figure out that math. So I pulled over and did the math on my phone and saw it would save me $75 a month, $2700 after 3 years, and over $28000 over the life of the loan. I called him back and took the $2,055 because I didn't want to get sued by the seller for breaking our closing date. I'm very fortunate to be in a position where I have the time to try to fix issues and am capable of standing up for myself and doing the math - others are not. Jordan is not looking out for people and will put people in bad situations against their knowledge or will. This should have been an easy process where I need a service, I go to veterans united to receive that service, and we all benefit. Instead it was a knife fight where I had to fight my way out of a bad situation. He put us all in an unavoidable losing situation where either the seller loses by moving the closing date, I lose by accepting less than what was rightfully mine, and veterans united loses for many reasons.
Thank you all for being on top of everything.
