My name is Josh Salicco. I am from Amarillo, TX. I graduated from West Texas A&M University in June of 2012 and moved to Lenexa, KS shortly after. I am married, but don't have any kids yet. My wife and I married the same month I graduated from school and we moved to Kansas, so it was quite a bit of change in a short amount of time. I am also currently serving as a Civil Affairs Team Sergeant in the United States Army Reserve. I joined the Army in May of 2008 and have deployments to Afghanistan. I love coffee, running, playing pranks, laughing with friends, sports of all kinds, grilling outside, making my wife smile, serving others, my job, my country, my family, and my God. I will do anything for anyone that I believe I can help. If you want to know more about me, just ask!

My team was extremely polite and worked very fast on an issues I had or to get answers to all my questions the only problem I found in the process was having to resend documents multiple times and asking if I needed to do certain things and being told no then halfway through the process being informed that I did indeed need to have it done
Response from Veterans United
Hi William,
Thank you for sharing your feedback, and Im glad to hear that you found our team to be polite and responsive. We work hard to keep things moving smoothly and to answer any questions that come up along the way, so Im pleased to know that part of the experience went well.
Im sorry to hear, though, about the frustration with having to resend documents and receiving mixed instructions during the process. We understand how important it is to have clear, consistent guidance from start to finish, and I apologize that we missed the mark here. Your time is valuable, and well be looking into ways to improve our process to prevent situations like this.
If theres anything youd like to discuss further, please dont hesitate to reach out to my team directly at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. We're available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST Monday through Friday, but feel free to contact us anytime.
Did awesome!!
When we first contacted Veterans United, it took us only a few minutes to realize we had made contact with a very professional team. Josh was / is AWESOME. He gave us such comfort moving forward. We know the challenges (paperwork) that come along with using V.A., but their entire team were GREAT to work with and made it painless.
Didn’t have to wait for any questions to be answered, everyone was on top of their game
Everything went smooth.. this was my first purchase so I wasn’t sure as to why the things done in closing are not done sooner, as they would make the transition smoother imo.. thank you and yes I’ll be suggesting you to my fellow veterans
Josh was very quick with responses to questions I had about the financing and my out of pocket costs.
