Rett Thompson
Rett grew up in the small town of Charleston, Missouri, where most of his family still lives today. Upon graduation from high school, Rett attended the University of Missouri – Columbia, better known as Mizzou, where he received his degree in Agribusiness Management. It was also during his time at Mizzou, that he met his wife! Together, they now have two amazing sons and have made Columbia, MO their home!
Rett is incredibly proud to be a part of the awesome team at Veterans United. He has a passion for helping military families achieve the dream of home ownership and he looks forward to welcoming you to the Veterans United family!
In his free time, Rett enjoys spending time with his friends and family. He is an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and loves all things Mizzou!

Rett is the best person. Working with him through all of this was a weight off my shoulders he was always there when I had questions and he helped us out a lot.
Nothing in particular stood out about this experience. My only critique if there was one is that, there wasn't much personal time with the loan officer.
Rett and his team have gone above and beyond to ensure our very first home buying process went smooth. The amazing communication amongst the team and ourselves was outstanding. Allyson was amazing when it came to answering questions in regards to anything we had in mind. Amanda did great when it came to helping us find our realtor . Matt was the most informative when we needed help on insurance, security, etc...The team was very knowledgable and helpful. Because of this amazing team we are able to say WE ARE HOME.
Veterans United is like used car salesmen play a game of slight of hand. They take an incredibly high percetage for the commision of your realtor for the referral. They will tell half truths and mislead you every step of the way. Avoid at all costs.

Rett was there every step of the way and never left me hanging! His service was outstanding from start to finish and was very patient with me! (I needed it!) he was the backbone of this operation and couldn’t have done it without him!
