Tyler Oakley
Tyler was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He attended college at The University of Central Missouri to play basketball. After college Tyler joined the finance/Insurance field for 6 years before joining Veterans United. Tyler is very passionate about helping Veterans and military families, as his father-in-law still serves in the Air Force. His main goal is to make the home buying process as easy as possible so the main focus can be on the excitement of owning a new home. Tyler is married to his wife Katie. They reside in Overland Park, Kansas with their son, Miles, and 2 dogs, Louie and Bandit. They are expecting their second child in May of 2023. Tyler looks forward to serving those that have served and are currently serving by providing assistance with all of their home needs.

Tyler is an amazing person and a true and very knowledgeable professional. From the very beginning, Tyler explained the process to us as this is our first home. He ensured we knew what to expect, what was expected of us, and his responsibility and commitment to achieve our goal of home ownership. He also made sure his team was organized and operated at the same high level of efficiency which we have experienced and appreciated. He was always available to us for anything (even things that we consider would be out of his realm of responsibility) and would respond to us as if we were his only account (which we know is furthest from the truth. First and foremost, he never lost sight of, and embraced, that he was helping a veteran and his wife. He met challenges and obstacles head on which led to the successful purchase of our dream home. It seems rare these days to get such an individual. He takes great pride in what he does, and he is second to none. We are so grateful to Tyler and his team. We will never forget him! We still can't believe we have our home!
I think Veterans United did an excellent t job for me. Very professional much of people there. I am very happy that I chose them.
No matter the time or day Tyler was always readily available for any question I had during the home buying process and has been a huge help even after purchasing.
I liked Tyler and his team's care and efficiency in guiding me through the home buying process. I had a great team throughout each phase. Home buying is a daunting task, especially for a first time home buyer but Tyler provided reassurance and gave me piece of mind.

This was my second home purchase with Veterans United ans with Tyler Oakley specifically. He was amazing the first time and is the reason I was so comfortable returning for a second time and I am so happy I did! He was extremely communicative and kept me constantly updated and we even closed 10 days early!!
From the very beginning of the process, just talking with Tyler put our minds at ease about going through with purchasing a new home. He was always available to us.
