I was nervous going into the process of buying a home. I honestly never thought I would. But from the moment I reached out to Veterans United my entire team was amazing. The only thing I was irritated at times would be the lack of communication for POA. If VU wants a certain POA, then we be provided or just the information that is needed needs to be mentioned up front. Yes, the deadline was met, but it was for sure nail-biting at times I truly want to thank my VU team for getting the paperwork squared away for me and making it possible to buy our first house.

You have a team of winners at VU. Having dealt with the VA, many of us always feel thrown to the curb. You guys are the complete opposite. I can’t say enough positive things.

Everything was great with the exception of the Appraiser not doing his job in a timely manner and causing our closing to be one day late.
Veterans United went above and beyond. They quickly worked to get us qualified, and they were able to get us to close quickly. Whenever there was an issue we were informed with a solution to the problem. We couldn’t be happier and will use Veterans United if we buy another home in the future.

20 out of 10!!! Our loan officer Jake, went above and beyond to help us get this loan approved and funded. It was an atypical loan as we were inheriting the home and had to navigate through a few issues. Jake was helpful, informative and encouraging with each bump in the road, researching and working with his team to find solutions. He always kept us in the loop as to where we were in the process. We've had many home loans over the years but never one this difficult. It would've been easy to give up if it had not been for Jake's help and encouragement. Nicole was our transaction coordinator and she was another 20 out of 10! Nicole was helpful, efficient and quick to respond. She was right on top of everything that was needed to get through the process. It's very evident that these two work well together, know what they're doing and really care about their clients.
