Wouldn’t recommend already filled the complaint about loan officer

Best customer service. United Veterans is very efficient in mortgage financing. Everything was done in a very timely manner. The process allow you to be ready to close weeks before the closing date, if you provide your supporting documents in a timer manner to the loan processors.
Would never use veterans united or recommend them to anyone else. My lender and closing team haven’t reach out to me and my closing cost went up 6,000 dollars then expect. When I arrived at closing I was unaware that I owe anything. The closing agency threatened us that we would have to leave the property. Thankfully I had the 8,000 dollars in closing cost to cover it. But no one reach out to me to mention that I would owe money at closing. I was under the impression that the sell of my home would transfer the money for closing of my new home. Very disappointed in veterans united for not being transparent with me I was under the impression that closing cost would be 9,000 dollars. 7,000 would be covered by the seller and when I sold my home the funds would be transfer to the closing of my new home. But no closing cost ended up being around 16,000 dollars. I believe the buy down points went up without my knowledge. No one reach out to me. I reach out to management and they basically told me that I made a mistake and I forgot everything. Overall very disappointed in veterans united I will tell everyone to stay away from this company and don’t understand how my closing cost ended up being so around 16,000 dollars.

Unexpected changes to closing costs, particularly that close to closing day, can create a lot of confusion and pressure. Outstanding experience from start to finish
My wife and I would like to convey (we learned that word from our real estate dealings, lol) our deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of the Veteran's United Team!!!Our journey began with Smith Gaddy on May 23rd. This being our first home ever (yes, at our age...), we did not know what to do or expect. We were guided by you all every step of the way. Our concierge (Casie) got us connected and on track for this process. She also hooked us up with our realtor. Tyler (our loan officer) got involved immediately and worked on our preapproval. Every step was detailed and explained in ways we could understand. The patience, understanding, and commitment was/is so amazing. Cara kept us on track for the underwriter and Jimmy kept the ball rolling in the same efficient manner when Cara was not available. Alicia got our Homeowners insurance in line and patiently kept making necessary changes as we needed them. We successfully closed on July 25th, 2022!Tyler (our loan officer) has gone out of his way to make our dream come true. He helped us overcome obstacles which could have destroyed our dream from becoming a reality. We will never forget him or his team!We tell you all this so you can get an idea from the buyers/our perspective. You all never lost sight of why you are doing this.I am a Vietnam Veteran who has had a difficult trip through life. I never would have dreamed this possible.
