I was able to receive a better rating thanks to this team and I am greatly appreciative of their work. Any questions were answered in a timely manner while also providing explanations for me to understand. Overall, my loan officers, David and Nicole, were top tier in support and in making this process as easy as possible.
We recently refinanced with Veterans United Home Loans using the same loan officer, Nathan Bitner, who has been with us since the very beginning. He has always been wonderful, honest, and genuinely looking out for our best interests. This is now our third time financing a home with him, and there’s a reason we continue to come back. At this point, it feels much more personal, and we truly consider him a friend.Nathan is now in a lead role, and he is absolutely killing it. Even with his growth, he has never lost the personal connection and care that made us trust him from day one. I really enjoyed working with Veterans United. The people are nice. You can always get hold of someone if you have questions. Their response times are quick. They will sit and explain any quedtuin you might have, and not make you feel like and idiot. The only thing I had an issue was the amount of people that would call, text or email me saying that they are part of my team. I did feel like I didn't know who I should call first about certain questions. Other than that, it was a wonderful experience.
From the very start Veterans United made to entire house buying process a lot easier than I thought it would be. I would highly recommend their services to any veteran looking to purchase a home.

This being our first home ever (yes, at our age...), we did not know what to do or expect. We were guided by you all every step of the way. Our concierge (Casie) got us connected and on track for this process. She also hooked us up with our realtor. Tyler (our loan officer) got involved immediately and worked on our preapproval. Every step was detailed and explained in ways we could understand. The patience, understanding, and commitment was/is so amazing. Cara kept us on track for the underwriter and Jimmy kept the ball rolling in the same efficient manner when Cara was not available. Alicia got our Homeowners insurance in line and patiently kept making necessary changes as we needed them. We successfully closed on July 25th, 2022!Tyler (our loan officer) has gone out of his way to make our dream come true. Drennan Johnson and Anna Jayamanne were great to work with on our loan! Drennan was extremely responsive and made the approval process seamless. He’s excellent with numbers and helped us get the best rate. Notoriously, underwriting is one of the worst parts of the loan approval process, but Anna put us at ease and made everything stress-free. They really were the dream team!
Would rather have someone speaking in spanish to clarify everything.
All of the VU representatives were kind, courteous, professional and had that “just right” sense of urgency needed to get the job done. The were all very knowledgeable and helpful in every way as well. The biggest factor for me was the VU mobile app!!! It is by far the most “user friendly” application I have ever used! The app, along with the assigned reps, together all made the home buying process incredibly easy and quick!!
Veterans United made us feel like we’ve been buying houses our whole lives. Although this was truly our FIRST home buying experience, the process was so smooth and made easy for us. Every single step of the way we were informed of changes and provided with all of the tools we needed to get to the finish line of buying our house. All of the millions of questions we had were answered in a timely manner, and never at any point did we feel left in the dark or unheard. I would use Veterans United again, and again, and recommend them to my entire family and friend group.
