Easy to work with, does a good job checking in with rates. We have stayed in contact since I started the buying process back in 2023! Like any process there will always be hiccups, but as a team everything was handled professionally and we worked through any problems/issues we had! Overall Veterans united is great and will be going back but there is one thing that let me down. I was in contract on a home for roughly 6 months and I was told by my loan officer that I would be contacted about locking in my rate 60 days out from closing in hopes that I would get a lower interest rate. I ended up going almost 4 months and didn’t hear anything from anyone. Ultimately im going to have to now pay a higher Interest rate because I was never called to lock it in while it was lower. I would still highly recommend Veterans united for ease of process and communication getting close to closing. I just had a different type of situation and it’s now costing me extra Benjamin’s I’m sure.

Working with Veterans United was an overall amazing experience. They made the home-buying process much easier to navigate. However, there was one hiccup: the day before closing, I was told that the closing date would need to be pushed back due to a required repair. The repair company wasn’t scheduled to complete the work until a few days after closing, but the seller and I had already agreed to set aside escrow funds to cover the repairs after closing.What made this frustrating was that the team had this information weeks in advance but didn’t communicate it sooner. This last-minute change caused a lot of stress, as I had to consider rescheduling plans and had already notified my landlord of my move-out date. Thankfully, the team quickly reached out to the repair company, and it turned out the work had already been completed earlier than scheduled. This allowed us to close on the original date, which was a huge relief.While I wish the situation had been handled more proactively, the rest of the process was smooth, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.
