We managed to find the house we wanted, get pre-approval, and close all within ~30 days! Absolutely unprecedented in my experience and we could not be more happy!
Everything was fine but, the repeated asking for documents and sometimes the same more than once was a little much. Also, the fees and not understanding them upfront cost me money in the long run. This also goes to paying money out of pocket at closing. There are a lot of hidden fees you don't see until you get in the process and these are not small numbers. Would have like to see more transparency at the beginning and knowing the potential cost as time went on.
