Buying a house initially felt like a daunting step. Where to begin? Who to contact? Can I even afford it?From the start I felt informed and guided to the steps I needed to take to make my home ownership a reality. Carma, Curtis, Mandy and Dana were all great to work with. If I needed anything, I had responses very quickly. This team made the ideas of a home into a reality and I'l always be thankful for them.
Christina Squires was outstanding in all aspects from start to finish. A true professional not AI but with the human touch of compassion and reassurance to remain patient and diligent through the entire process.
I had a pleasurable experience with Veterans United and even after closing on the home, they said they would be there for any questions I would have. My whole team has been great even through the delays by the seller. I would recommend Veterans United to any veterans looking to use their VA loan to buy a house.
every question I had was answered promptly and accurately. At no point did i feel rushed or made to feel pressured. great company.
Torri T. Was a phenomenal help in this whole process and never once did I have a poor interaction with her or any of her team
Great job thanks guys

Ashlyn was excellent through the entire process. She took the time to explain everything to us and was always available for questions.
Schandler and the team were awesome and easy to deal with!
I was always under the impression that buying a house would be a very stressful and difficult process. But working with VU completely changed that perspective—it was an unbelievably smooth and straightforward experience. My loan officer, Dustin Johnson, and his team were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and proactive throughout every step. They always kept me informed, answered all my questions promptly, and made sure I understood everything that was happening.Their professionalism and genuine care turned what could have been a nerve-wracking process into something I actually enjoyed. The only downside to closing on my house is that I won’t get to work with Dustin and his team on a daily basis anymore. I truly can’t recommend them enough to anyone looking to buy a home—they made my dream of homeownership a reality, and I’m so grateful for their support.
I had an absolutely positive experience with Veterans United. I would recommend them to other people, and would be proud to do so.
The whole team was awesome. Everyone seemed to be very knowledgeable and gave some awesome advice throughout the process. The whole process went very smoothly and I loved the VU app.
Even though the process was little frustrating but my team, patiently bear with me and provided me with all the assistance that I needed. I just want to use this time to also say thanks.
Maybe this is more of the realtor's responsibility, but it would have been nice if someone would have advised us that the seller might leave all their Airbnb furniture and artwork in the house. Then we could have requested for it to be removed instead of allowing them to leave stained and burnt furniture, and weird artwork. I think what happened was the seller decided to leave all their Airbnb junk when we requested a $5000 credit back for maintenance fees. Kind of like "well if I'm giving you a $5000 credit back then you can also deal with all this junk" which I just think was highly unprofessional.
We had a complicated home purchase and the VU team were there for us every step of the way. Shawn is fantastic, he really goes above and beyond, and Maria kept me on track throughout. We have worked with Shawn in the past and he has been a consistent partner for us in every way. Thank you!
The employees appeared inexperienced and made multiple avoidable mistakes. The process was disorganized, communication was poor, and I had to catch errors that should have never happened. Overall, the level of professionalism and attention to detail was not what I expected.

From start to finish Kris Doren from United veterans made the transition to a new owner so easy. Kris was available around the clock to help me secure my loan and make it a smooth transition. I would highly recommend United veterans organization and especially Kris Doren and his fantastic service he provided.
The staff is friendly but needs serious retraining in the loan/lender department greatly. We had to constantly ask our realtor (who has 20+) years of experiance on what to-do for MANY things and it was only when the loan officers supervisor took over 90% of our case that thing started to smooth out.Our realtor also had to correct issues that shouldn't have even popped up that the loan officer never caught and then she would have to contact the loan officer and have her correct things. We were also given multiple closing dates because paper work was not submitted in time causing us money, frustration and time. They may be the number one VA home loan company in the country but our experiance was mediocre and lack luster at best! I was just as excited to be done with dealing issues that never should have risen and broken promises on time lines. I was just as excited being done with their staff as I was buying our first new home!
Response from Veterans United
Hi Joshua,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and congratulations on your first home. While I'm glad you reached that milestone, I'm truly sorry to hear the journey there was so frustrating.
I understand how disappointing it is to experience communication issues, changing closing dates, and mistakes that added stress during the process. Buying a home should be an exciting time, and I'm sorry your experience didn't reflect the level of service you expected. I also appreciate you recognizing the improvement you experienced once additional support became involved.
Your feedback is important, and I'd like the opportunity to learn more about what happened so I can share your experience with the appropriate team. If you're willing, please reach out to me at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com.

My experience with Nina was exceptional, she made us feel seen and valued. Went above and beyond to answer question or get us who could answer our questions. I would highly recommend Nina.
