There is no doubt in my mind that Veterans United is all in with the helping of veterans achieve the purchasing of a home. The transparency about the numbers helped a great deal, and from the very beginning I felt the warm engagement about the whole process. My initial pre approval was low for the market I was searching in, but it didn't stop the loan team from ticking the numbers up a couple times to try and help. Eventually I had to step back and improve the credit score, but the pre appoval was still good the whole time (1 yr), And when I was ready they was ready and put me right where I needed and wanted to be. But what makes Jon Abernathy and the team at Veterans United stand out, is that at the final stage and after all that work, something seriously could've derail it and they did not allow it to...that what makes them really good people and worthwhile doing business with.
The concierge folks were extremely helpful with home security, insurance, etc. All of the loan folks kept us updated and gave us opportunities to ask questions. Their responses were timely.
