We’ve used VU twice and a smaller lender once for our three total times we’ve purchased a home using the VA Loan. Will highly recommend them over and over as we haven’t seen many other lenders top their customer service and support throughout the process. We were asked to furnish documents 4 times. The whole process was abusive. We closed the loan and the next day we paid it off. We will not ever use them again.

I can understand how being asked for documents multiple times would make the experience feel stressful, especially during something as important as closing on a home loan. While there are times additional documentation is needed throughout underwriting, I understand that repeated requests can feel overwhelming and disappointing. I also regret that we left you feeling unsupported enough to pay off the loan immediately after closing.
