I was so nervous about buying a new home again. The team at VU and the agent were amazing. Walked me through every step and made sure I had a good feeling about the process. Thank all of you.
Amazing people to work with and are always on top of their game, highly recommend veterans united to anyone looking to own a home.
Great service
It’s always nice when you feel like a team like this has your six!
My overall experience was great. But the communication with tanner smith could have been better.
VA definitely made the process smooth and easy.
Thank you for helping us buy our new home!
Others than the sellers issue the entire team made it happen
The whole team from start to finish was very helpful.
Thank you to the VU team for treating me as part of your family and thank you for making my dream of becoming a homeowner true.
Here is the truth. They were quick asking for things … a bit slow responding when we asked ..
Together we all got the job done and we are greatful for our team
The process this time was a little convoluted on the outside, and the associate that Don had connected us to Nathan was not as engaging as Don, and did not communicate that well. The process appear to take a lot longer than it should have especially with all my recent information with you when I say you, I mean veterans United my wife was involved in this transaction, and I have to tell you that she wanted to quit several times because information that was being asked for, and then the constant additional needing of documents after all the documents were sent, and the questioning of the validity of the documents, made us question things. I feel that if I have to do a transaction with you veterans United again I will consider it however, there needs to be a better process. I understand things are changing financially and these are some scary times. I just don’t feel that the process should’ve taken his long or been as stressful as it wound up being my credit is good. My wife’s is excellent and the amount of questions especially when we owned a house, free and clear, and the amount we were asking for was minuscule compared to the value of the home! In my opinion, it should’ve been a slam dunk. The simple fact that I had to provide when you have the resources to look at my last six house payments with veterans United. You should’ve had those and why did I have to provide proof of payment of an excellent handling of my account since our first transaction. I certainly hope this does not fall on deaf ears. Like I stated, in my comments about Don I anticipate that I will have another transaction within the next year. I would hope that maybe you evaluate this particular case and see what better things can be processed to make it much smoother in the future.
Thanks Mariano RUFFINO
Zach was awesome. However the underwriter in charge of my file seemed incompetent to me. I firmly believe that if it wasn’t for Zach and his common sense and his industry knowledge, I would have stopped working with Veterans United. Please review the underwriter and his procedures. This was a very frustrating process and I’m certain it mostly stemmed from the amateur underwriter. Perhaps more training is needed? Or have the underwriters speak or request documentation directly from the customer instead of pawing that off onto a loan coordinator. Also my loan coordinator was a joke. Cyndi Brotherton didn’t bother to return calls or emails. I hear she is no longer employed and that is good news.
Highly recommend the team. They were always polite, positive, and helpful! They always took the time to answer all of our questions and never made us feel like we were being a bother.
These guys are awesome. Every question I had got answered. Every thing was simple and easy to do. They made a stressful time less stressful.
