Aaron and Jordan, we’re absolutely amazing. Answered every question I had and communicated throughout the process and helped throughout my hurdles.
Veterans United gave us a worry free buying experience. It was a complete 180 from the first time we bought a house with a different Mortgage Company. I didn't have to worry about anything, from paperwork to closing. 10/10!
The entire team was amazing !!!!
I have a lot of thoughts. NEVER use LANDSEL Title Agency again. I guarantee you that of I were to go through here again and I found out that was going to be the title agency. I will leave. I should be compensated for the time they wasted. I get paid by the hour and they did not have their stuff together and had to change my closing date. Did not tell me, not did they telle the new one. With the time. I showed up and, according to them, was supposed to be there an hour earlier. I am also disappointed in Becca. I reached out by text and email and I never got responses from her. My realtor finally got somewhere.
Also, I feel you should worn any potential borrowers that they might have to take the education course the home buyer education course in advance. Not wait until a week and a half before closing date for them to scurry around and try to find a cheap enough class. It makes no sense to send a person to a home buying budget It's education place on how to budget and save money and make them pay to budget and save money that they're supposed to be saving. Either make it mandatory or let them know in the beginning it's a possibility the underwriters may make them do it. That way they have time to find the free classes that are usually offered on Saturday mornings the first and third Saturdays or whatever state they're in there are free classes that they could get but if you tell them at the wrong time they aren't going to get them and then some of these classes are charging $150 to $200 I don't think that's fair to a person who has already financially strapped trying to find a home and you're trying to give them an opportunity but you're making them pay even more money and more stress. I felt the class was very valuable and I also felt that it's something that everybody should watch but it was not valuable when I went through almost every one of the steps already before I even was forced to take the class It's something they should see in the beginning.
The entire experience with VeteransUnited has been amazing. I contacted them through a form online and before I could even finish filling it, Alec called me and walked me through everything. Adam made sure we were able to get a home despite the fact that we had very little in savings, just over a month to close, and absolutely no down payment (we weren't expecting to have to move, let alone so suddenly). Mike, the realtor they provided us with, was absolutely the perfect fit for us, especially being first-timers. Nick helped us figure out who we should be contacting about what, and pointed us in the right direction regarding utilities and resources. Dena dealt with us closely and was super responsive no matter what day or time it was. Dallas helped ensure that the homeowner's insurance we purchased was sufficient. Every single person involved made what we thought was impossible into reality.
I just want to express my absolute appreciation to the VU team. Especially Tim, who from the very beginning was my go-to. I'm grateful beyond words and can never truly just how much it meant to me. Thanks again!
There are no words to adequately describe how sincerely my family and I appreciate everything you all have done for us! Thank you very much!
Great team ! I would definitely recommend Veteran United to any of my friends looking to buy a home.
Thank you all for making this happen.
Kenny and Carrie were always easy to reach, educated and knowledgeable, in contact, friendly and hard working people.Kenny has become a friend as this point since we have spent so much time working together. My process was NOT easy and your team was simply outstanding to work with for the 60 days it took.Thank you my friend, Kenny.-Caleb Catron
I never expected such a great bunch of people to jump in there and make a wonderful experience out of home buying.
Sending people your way and will contact for additional mtg needs in the future.
It was a pleasure working with Veterans United. All parties involved were great. Philip, Doug, and Nicole were fantastic. They were always available with answers to my questions. They always kept an open line of communication. The process was great, not too stressful. Underwriting was a little problematic, but this is always the kicker in the home-buying process. Overall, VU was an excellent experience, and I would welcome VU to any veteran I know that’s in the process of purchasing a home!!!
Highly recommend veterans united. Not only was it a smooth process, but it was fast and they make sure to communicate.
Response from Veterans United
Anna,
Our Client Advocate team is in your corner. If you'd like to discuss with us, we're here to listen and help however we can.
Very Sincerely,
Kendra, Client Relations
Very quick response times, friendly and professional. 10/10 in every aspect.
Communication definitely needs a lot of work. When an offer is put on the home that should be the time to lock in the rate for the loan not the last week leading up to the closing date.
