You forgot about Christy, Dereks co-pilot. ( May I assume they were Air Force while they were working with me) Ha! She delivered the news of the approval of my loan. It was such a relief. Between her and Derek I felt like my loan was the only thing they had to work on. I even told them that. They told me it was because I was important.Don't leave out Mary. I was cruising the internet and just wanted to see what my loan would be if I went VA. I was upset that I had to give my personal information. Front line Mary called me in less than a minute. First thing I said, "I'm not doing this over the internet" I don't want to be handed off to a bunch of people throughout the process all doing different things. She assured me I wouldn't, and gave me some history of Veterans United. She was believable and I moved forward.I found one team that saw me through the whole process. You get to know them and know they are there for you. I was thanked for my ability to work with them. I felt like part of the team. I don't trust Corporate America. Not once did I think that Veterans bottom line was more important than my goal to secure a loan for my new home. I got a decent rate. Closing was focused and we closed days before expecting to. I don't sell houses for a living. I don't know the jargon or the acronyms, I didn't have to. Your portal is easy to use. Easy to navigate with a lot of useful information. Easy to upload, and notifications are easily noticed. My team was identifiable with a picture. I saw a few e-mails that were floating between Title Co, Agents, and Veterans United. I was comfortable knowing these people had it under control.I said my good byes and thank you to these people on closing day. They all reached out to congratulate me and it was quite bittersweet. Rarely do you find such caring people that you have to say good by to after just a short period of time. Thank you Veterans United.
