Tim is by far the best reflection of Veterans United. I would recommend Veterans to my family only if Tim was the Loan Officer.
Heather Vivone was great however, she was a bit unorganized.

Very poor communication and explaining what things were. I had questions that never got answered. Things on my credit report were assumed rather than asked about which cost me a lot of money at the close. Seems like the people waited until the last minute to collect the information they needed and I was left running around up until the day of closing trying to submit documents.

To say Kollin, Amy, Maja, Janet, and the entire team were outstanding does not do them justice at all. Kollin was very straightforward and painted a crystal clear picture of what to expect during the entire process. Professionalism was 2nd to none. Communication skills and consistency was always prompt, courteous, and always super friendly and easy to talk to. Always answered all questions as fast as i would ask them. My favorite was his sense of humor which really made an extremely busy and stressful process alot easier to deal with on a daily basis. Emily the exact same way! She always communicated with me effectively and always gave clear instructions and answered my questions promptly and thoroughly. She was always super fast in getting my documents submitted for underwriting as fast as I would upload them. This made staying on track for closing so much more streamlined and easier. Always such a pleasure to talk to to keep me from freaking out on a daily basis. Kollin was superb at this as well! Maja was always so kind and helpful for me in getting all the details sorted out as far as moving. Her helpful tips, suggestions, and advice have already saved me tons of money and time during the moving process. On active duty, you're a big family. Shane Lowe and his team at VU truly honor the term, 'veteran'. As a veteran, you know times aren't always easy and you have to lean on those who serve with you to get it done...knowing together, you will get it done.
We leaned very heavily on Shane and Veterans United and every time things looked bleak, Shane said, 'I got you brother, I'm going to make this happen.'Veterans United made it happen. Hooyah.

Really liked how easy it was through the whole process. I due admit at the beginning it was overwhelming and there was a lot of information thrown at you. Although that is probably just the buying experience anyway. After the first few weeks things smoothed out and was clear and concise. Thanks for everything.
This was my first home buying experience, I thought it would have been different. The system seems to work but the communication needs a lot of work. I didn't get replied to when I texted or needed info or help, or just someone to explain why things are being done a certain way, so that I'm understanding what's going on. My experience with Veterans United I hope no one has to go through that. Closing was rough but Bravo Zulu to all the other parts and people like my Realtors, the Insurance guy, the security guy for my home system. Everyone was on there A game and helpful and kept in touch, followed up on a regular. But enough of that I am glad that Veterans united did make things right and got the deal closed and I was able to get into a home. It was a crazy experience but at the end of the day they did close the deal.

Veterans United made all the paperwork needed very easy to submit and they were quick with everything. Overall they were great, one thing could been better was my estimates were not always accurate.
