The rates can be a lot better. But Tim Gover was awesome thru the process to include matching rates from other va loan franchises.
Justin is absolutely superb. He was always helpful, cheerful, and super knowledgeable. He was super communicative and didn't leave us hanging waiting for answers or worrying about what was happening behind the scenes. There were very minimal glitches along the way and Justin was right there to explain and fix them immediately. We've bought many houses over the years and this was the least stressful, best process ever. The only negative thing I have to add is that the insurance agent referred to us was not very responsive. We waited 10 days for quotes and then send a couple of reminder emails. Nothing happened until we asked our concierge to assist. Then we had quotes within a couple of hours. As it turned out they were quite a big higher than local insurance agents, but we thank our loan team for helping us.
This mortgage experience was seamless! From the beginning of the process to the end, the Stephen and his team were so responsive and caring. It didn’t feel like a business transaction, but more like a group of friends who honestly wanted us to have a great home financing experience.
As a USMC Veterans, I have been trying to purchase a home for a long time. No matter what I tried it seemed like there were too many doors getting closed on us. Veterans United has been totally the opposite of those other Veterans friendly groups. They guided me and gave me all the information I needed to qualify for a new home. From the time I was introduced to a local realtor to the day we were given the keys, my family and I were taken care of.
