Veterans United and namely Loan Officer Mike Wilson and his team were the best I have ever dealt with. I can say this because after 40+ years in the mortgage industry at all levels and extensive experience in the origination, processing and closing process they were outstanding. Veterans United has refined and redefined the meaning of customer service to an art form.
Working with Matthew and Tina was amazing. They both were able to answer my questions and keep me calm during the stressful parts of underwriting . It was hard getting ahold of Gray Grim during the underwriting process. Even when I would leave a message with name, phone number and property I was purchasing, I didn’t get a phone call back in 24 hrs so I would try calling again at times that someone would statistically be near their office phone. There were also too many changes to already existing inspections right at at the end of the process (1-2 weeks before closing date). If I was able to rate the Gray Grim, I would say 4/10 stars.
Veterans United, specifically our Loan Officer, Kenny Scheer, were amazing every step of the way. I would and intend to recommend any and all homebuyers reach out to Kenny Scheer and team at VU!
