App was easy to use. Uploading documents was easy to do/use. All team members answered our questions in a timely matter. The mortgage process--start to finish--was fantastic.
Working with Nina and Kaylyn has been such an honor. They were fantastic and were always there for us every step of the way. They answered all our questions in a timely manner and helped us buy our dream home! We would love to work with Nina and Kaylyn again and recommend them to everyone!
I was very pleased with everyone i spoke with during my home purchase and i really appreciate everything Josh and his team did for me
We're so happy we went with Veterans United for the purchase of our new home in MD...the process was seamless and every individual we worked with was wonderful and accommodating at every step of the way. Thank you!
Everyone did a great and thank you all
Had a few hiccups along the way but made it through and am very happy that I went with this company would happily recommend and use them in the future.
Veterans United care about their veterans and clients. Veterans United will go the extra mile to make sure veterans are treated good. I am speaking from experience with Veterans United. There are many slogans that say different things but, Veterans United back up what they say to a Veteran or Client, “we wil take care of you especially our veterans”, I can honestly say Veterans United took good care of my wife and I!V/RRetired MSG Michael Whiteside
I would recommend and endorse VU to anyone.
Kudos to the Veteran's United team members we had working on our behalf throughout the home buying process. From pre-approval to close we couldn't have asked for better service (including anyone who may have helped behind the scenes). Everyone was so helpful and worked so hard to help us get financed to buy our home. It truly felt like our team was in our corner, happy for us to close on our new home! Would definitely recommend!
Where do I even begin? The first time I went through Veteran’s United it was nothing but a pleasant experience filled with knowledgeable and competent people on my “team”. This is why I chose to return this time around. I even got the same agent from before (Matt) so I was confident I’d have just as good of an experience if not better.I don’t know if he was hungry last time and now he isn’t but the involvement from him this time around was so minimal that it’s unbelievable. All of the work after the initial phone call was pushed off onto an assistant who did her best but there were many mistakes with our loan which were not caught until the week we were supposed to close. This not only jeopardized our entire purchase but also my $30k earnest money. The response from the Matt was “what’s your rush?”. I guess meeting the closing date that the lender set was unreasonable? The only reason our closing even happened was because the title company continued working on our package until 8:30 at night. I thought maybe the stress was behind us once we finally closed but here we are, a week later and I’ve been notified by the title company that the lender entered the wrong home owners payment amount and I have to pay the $1150 difference out of pocket. Plus they didn’t even send the check to the correct insurance company. Maybe some of this could have been avoided if Matt actually earned his commission and showed up to work. At least 2 of the 3 days we were scrambling to meet all of the requirements the team missed, Matt had either left work early (around noon) or didn’t come in at all. When he finally did get back into the mix he was very upset to have been so inconvenienced and was continually fighting with my realtor who despite his unprofessionalism continued to be respectful and tactful.I wouldn’t say to not go through Veteran’s United because you could have my first experience or you could have my most recent, but I can tell you it would be in your best interest to avoid Matt Eichenberger.
Response from Veterans United
Tyler,
I was sorry to see this and certainly understand your frustrations. While it is true that title works with our closing department to determine the insurance amounts, they are supposed to be doubling checking those a totals, as they actually issue the payments. Our Client Advocates are still available and here for you. Please reach out to 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com if we can look into any other concerns or questions from this time around. We’re in the office from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST Monday through Friday and you can email us anytime. We sincerely thank you for letting us serve you again all the same. Your feedback aids in improving our best practices going forward and we thank you for that. If we can help make this better, we’re here to do that, too.
Sincerely,
Kendra, Client Relations
I give VU an A+ for helping this old Master Sergeant buy his first ever home! Thank you for blessing me with a place to call “Home!” There is no place like home and Veterans United you clicked your heals and made it possible! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!Retired Army MSG H. Y. Blackmon
First time home buying experience. Though we was a little anxious, this entire team took the time to appreciate that and answer all of our question and let us lean on their experience and expertise. My wife and I discussed on multiple occasions how taken care of we felt.
