We cannot say enough good words about our experience with Nick & Mason. Nick kicked off the process with us efficiently, met our closing date requirements, and made it easy to understand which documents we needed to provide because he speaks military lingo as a past veteran himself, which removed all pain points. It's for these reasons we went with Veterans United as a lender as opposed to the conventional lenders. Additionally, Nick told us what to expend and when, including connecting us with Mason, the loan coordinator. Mason was immediately responsive to all of our questions, and was the most proactive person with communication. It was as if he knew what we were going to ask in real-time and provided that information immediately. What a pleasant, easy, comforting, and efficient experience. We will be recommending Veteran's United to everyone we know in the Armed Services. We're so, so, so grateful for the opportunity to work with Nick & team.
The whole finance team and underwriting team is outstanding, professional, and has great customer service, integrity, and honesty. The response time throughout the process was so quick even though it was the holidays. I had issues with a flood insurance check refund not being making it to me in the mail and Tami an insurance agent was on it all of the way with updates. I can't wait to see the new ADT security when it's installed as well. I really will enjoy my new home! Thank you Veterans United!

Veterans United provided with a lot of information and knowledge on how to tackle various obstacles in home-buying in the state of Florida. The whole process was bumpy at times due to third parties involved in the closing process. But Veterans United kept the communication going with outstanding professionalism and patience. They also contributed additional information in regards what the Veterans Affairs Department can offer in tax benefits and other special programs.

I was really surprised that Veterans United was able to help me to become a homeowner because I am a surviving spouse and I did not serve in the military.
The entire experience was delightful. Considering it was close to a one-year process, the entire team was eager to meet our needs from beginning to end.
The only thing that could be improved was to talk about what the interest rate and actual monthly payment would be upfront. I had a ball park number in mind but still ball park. The entire process was easy and seamless. Would recommend to friends.
One thing that I wish would happen, is that for the whole duration of my loan that I stay with Veterans United. The last time I purchased with Veterans United, they sold my mortgage to Freedom Mortgage, who was extremely pushy, rude, and had abusive sales practices. Even after telling them to stop sales calls, they continued.Veterans United was a blast to work with on my last loan as well as this one. I just hope my loan stays with Veterans United.
