I only remark that I would not recommend Veterans United is that there were better options with local lenders that I did not take. I was not impressed with the outsourcing of insurance information and floodplain survey information. That is not the loan teams' fault in any way. I was only disappointed that the information was erroneous, and the Veterans United insurance plans were astronomically more expensive that other insurance options that offer similar coverage. There were also lapses of communication regarding outstanding loan requirements leading to a timeline shift in the closing.
I worked with my loan officer Terry Roberts on my homebuying experience. He was very helpful and easy to talk to. He answered any questions I had, along the way, in a very timely manner. I'm very excited for this new chapter in my life. I can't thank Terry Roberts enough for all of his help with my homebuying process!
