He is patient, takes his time when researching, gives you suggestions on how to make your case stronger, and all his advice actually yielded positive results for me. Things can get challenging during this process, but with everyone's positive attitude and expertise, it makes the process much more tolerable. Working with VU has been a pleasure. This is the 2nd time to make a VA purchase with VU. Mike Lyman and his team was tremendous. Their expertise and willingness to answer questions and provide information is unequaled. They are simply the best.

So, I’m pleased overall.1 thing I would do different is scrutinize the hell out of the initial estimate with every line item and understand how it aligns to the deal. That makes my decisions thereafter better informed. I did not do this as well with frequent late nights and not enough time away from work and the rest of the life transition going on all in parallel, and possibly suffered from it. Not a fun time for me, but glad for this team.
I recommend any veteran that is looking to buy a home to do it through Veterans United. I’ve dealt with other home lenders and it’s normally a difficult process. Some lenders say they specialize in VA loans but I never seems that way. Veterans United only deals with veterans and they know exactly what’s they are doing. I highly recommend they for any veteran seeking to purchase a home
