Veterans United just sort of fell into our laps. We had zeroed in on an area in Illinois and were greatly intrigued by one specific home. I clicked off on "see if you qualify" and was contacted by Michael Pitts and his team; best contact we could have made. This team - and I do mean each and every member - gave us the confidence to proceed and the expertise to help us over the small bumps in the road towards our qualification, loan approval, through the closing process, and the various requirements one needs in setting up a new home more than 2000 miles from the previous one. I don't recall ever telling any of the team that we were bringing 10 (yes, ten!) cats with us in a U-Haul trailer, but today, the day after our closing, a package arrived from tha Veterans United team. Inside were number of cat toys, catnip bags and food treats. Sure, it's good customer relations, but what an individualized treat for us. This kind of follow through seems rare today, but this team has it all and they gave their all. As a first-time homebuyer, I was expecting a slow, lengthy and confusing process. My experience in working with Veterans United was the opposite of that.
