Nicole and Julie made a substantial mistake on closing day and we weren’t able to put a large down payment on the mortgage. This lack of attention forced us to sign the mortgage and not put 40000 as a down payment. I will never recommend this mortgage to any veterans. Serving this country and being a disabled veteran makes me extremely disgusted the way we were treated. Shame on you and this company.

I was amazed at Veterans United through and through. You see the commercials, what the customers reviews are, and think to yourself “there’s no way they’re that good.” Or, “That sounds to good to be true.” But as it turns out you guys really are that good. We are beyond impressed with the professionalism of all the staff we had dealings with and shocked at how easy they made the home buying process, from start to finish. This was a phenomenal experience and we will recommend Veterans United to everyone we know and should we move again we will DEFINITELY be using Veterans United again!
My husband and I highly recommend VU to any veteran looking to buy a home. We tried about a year ago to buy a home and the local lender we used was AWFUL! She didn't know how to handle a VA Loan. Was confused about all the paperwork. Kept asking us for more and different paperwork all just to get preapproved. After about two weeks of fuss, she finally said "You don't qualify, sorry." It left a really sour taste in our mouths. Veteran's united washed out pallets clean! Our whole team was incredibly friendly and fast paced and COMPETENT. Todd, Alexis, and all the background people that we don't know the names of, thank you for helping our growing family get our first home.

When tasks are due I’d respond and complete the task immediately. It wouldn’t be actioned or a response wouldn’t be made until the next day. Close date was missed and technically the contract was violated due to the delays. I’d been living out of my office for a week because of this and could have lost the house and my earnest money and had to start over. All of this could have been avoided or resolved through better more timely communication.
