Thank you so much Tyson & Team, and Veterans United! So glad you guys were there for us.
Such a great place for a home loan. Quick to answer questions and really walk you through the process.
Charged me for things you didn't have to charge me for, pretty misleading about being affiliated with the VA or Veterans and you have zero affiliation with the VA or any Veteran Service Organizations, and quickly finding out how bad the rate I got from you is. On top of all that, your concierge service is pretty bad - said my change of address was completed and I found out it wasn't. Your portal overall was pretty seamless and easy to use, but I'm sure that will be duplicated by many in very short order. You helped me get a home, which I have some gratitude for - which is why you get a 6 and not a 1.Overall experience - feels like one of those car places right outside of Fort Hood. Trying to take advantage and make money off of us instead of actually being of service.
Response from Veterans United
Thank you for sharing your open and honest feedback Robert.
Veterans United Home Loans is a private mortgage lender, not affiliated with or endorsed by the Department of Veterans Affairs or any government agency; this is noted on all of our advertisements, social media accounts, and our website. While the VA guarantees a portion of each VA home loan, the department relies on individual lenders, like Veterans United Home Loans, to actually issue the loans. We certainly encourage people to shop around with several lenders to find the best deal for them! We realize that interest rates can vary from lender to lender and is one of the most important factors in your home buying decision. As far as fees go, the VA allows lenders to charge up to 1% of the loan amount to cover origination, processing and underwriting costs. If the lender is charging the 1% fee, they are not allowed to tack on additional charges for things the VA basically considers overhead. Our goal at Veterans United is to help create the best situation for yourself and your family.

I highly recommend using Veterans United when buying a home. They make it a very easy process and do not try to hide anything
Ask questions… Veterans United will navigate the pre-approval process right through closing with great information and will help ease tensions as relocating and moving your lift is hard enough.. 10 in my book

I can't say enough about Veterans United.
They honored the fact that I am a veteran from day one. The entire team is amazing. I applied with other lenders, and did not qualify from the onset and was dismissed. When I applied with Veterans United I had less than stellar credit but Brooke Roberts stepped in and gave me financial advise to help qualify for the loan. Once approved Jeremy Henry, our loan specialist stepped in and talked us through the next steps of our loan process. He is knowledgeable, courteous and so friendly. Down the stretch loan coordinator Stephanie Vossen took us through the finish line seemlessly. She made sure all our documents were in order, fielded all kinds of questions during all times of day.
The entire teem worked tirelessly to help my family achieve our dream of home ownership. They seemed more like family. I highly recommend Veterans UnitedSemper Fi !!!!
Top notch service and very friendly!
