The number of times I had to contact my loan team regarding our home deposit was frustrating. Once things were handed from our loan officer to the loan coordinator, things really went downhill. He literally never responded to emails and I felt ridiculously out of the loop. We had such a fantastic experience with Veterans United the first time...this time, not so much. Unfortunately, I don't think I would choose VU next time.
The team was outstanding. Very much appreciated and enjoyed working with them.

Terrible. DO NOT USE. They never answered my questions or explained things to me. Every day was a crisis of their own creation. I had to call to find out if they needed items because they were so bad about communicating things to me. Every time I reached out to them, they’d say they urgently needed another document. I never could understand why they didn’t have a comprehensive list of items they were going to need. I got to a point where I didn’t trust them with my money. I would have found another company if I had had more time.
Being self-employed can make financing tough. But my Veterans United team stuck with me, and after 18 months of hard work I closed on my first home! I couldn't be happier with my loan team, and highly recommend Veterans United when pursuing a VA loan!
