Unfortunately, the underwriting department is the only reason why I didn’t give all 10’s. We got an email the night before closing while we are trying to pack and get everything out of the house we were moving out of and was advised that we still didnt have the approval to close. A Phone call would have been better because we would have seen it in a timely manner and not 2 hours later.
I commend Heidi and her team in pulling in all their resources and favors to make it happen.
I would still recommend Veterans United to friends and family members.

Overall very happy with how things ended up. I believe that maybe it would be a little helpful to check in a little more with the homebuyer on what stage we are in throughout the process, just to help ease the mind a little. But very happy that I got to get the house of my dreams and I'm excited to see what adventures life has next for me

Ill put simple I didn't think the customer service was what it used to be after my first time purchase the customer service was almost one way with the VU team needing information from me and questions from them to me but in regards to myself I had a very tough time at times trying to get a hold of someone to the point where I was asking friends and family questions that I needed to ask the lender due to the fact that they did not call back or leave a message giving an attempt to help out I am appreciative for the work put into my home buying journey but I would of liked to have a better interaction with the entire VU Team
