Y’all’s team was just top notch when I googled Va home loans I didn’t think there was a shot in the dark I’d get it I had credit scores below a 600 fresh out of prison gaps in work history and this team pushed pulled fought and clawed jumped through 100 hoops for me and got me into this house. They were absolutely amazing answering questions after hours on the weekends I’m still amazed I was able to get it but it’s due to the hard work this team did Thankyou guys
The entire process was amazing!!!
After all the challenges of Home buying I realize that the expert guidance of EVERYONE associated with Veterans united was the driving force that made the purchase happen

I will not be using VU to refinance my loan in 6 months. Your under writing and the qualifying process was incredibly horrible...
Response from Veterans United
Hi Edward,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m sorry to hear that your experience with our underwriting and qualifying process was so frustrating. Refinancing or purchasing a home should be a smooth, transparent journey, and it sounds like we fell far short of that in your case.
Our goal is to make every step of the process clear and supportive, and it’s disappointing to hear that we missed the mark. Your experience shows us that there are areas where we need to improve, particularly in our underwriting process, to ensure a better experience for our clients.
If you're open to it, my team would appreciate the chance to understand more about what went wrong. We're committed to learning from this and enhancing our processes to provide a better experience for future clients. Your feedback is important to us as we work on making meaningful improvements. Please feel free to reach out directly at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. We're available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST Monday through Friday, but don’t hesitate to reach out whenever it’s convenient for you.
Aaron Laxson is an outstanding loan officer, I highly recommend him for anything mortgage related. Thank you Aaron along with the rest of your team!
Working with the staff of Veterans United was a total joy. They were professional in every step of the process and ensured that loan process ran smoothly. Thank you for a job well done!
All I say job well done veteran united team
A flawless process as always.
David Smart was super helpful in guiding us into to our new loan. The overall exemplary performance for our team was impeccable.
The whole team was stupendous. Thanks everyone for doing a great job.
The 1st house I was going to buy in NH fell through because of magnanese and iron. Horrible experience. It caused me to lose approximately $5000.00 out of my pocket.
The house I just bought didn’t even test for magnanese or iron.
No consistency, communication sucked. Everybody is out to gouge everyone. It was one of the most stressful experiences in my life.
End of story.
Response from Veterans United
Hi David,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I’m truly sorry to hear about the challenges you faced during your homebuying journey. Purchasing a home should be a rewarding experience, but it sounds like this process was full of unexpected hurdles that caused you unnecessary stress and financial loss. This is far from the experience we want for our clients, and I apologize for the impact this had on you.
Losing approximately $5,000 due to the issues with the first property in New Hampshire is a significant and frustrating setback, and I can only imagine how difficult it must have been to go through that. The inconsistent approach with property testing, specifically regarding manganese and iron levels, is something we need to examine more closely. Consistency and thoroughness are essential, and I apologize that we didn’t provide that for you.
I’m also concerned to hear that communication with our team was lacking during this time. We strive to keep our clients informed and supported every step of the way, and it sounds like we fell short of that commitment in your case. You deserved clear, proactive communication, especially when navigating issues like property testing and potential delays.
Your feedback is invaluable, and we take it seriously as it helps us identify exactly where we need to improve. If you’re open to it, we’d like the opportunity to look into what went wrong in more detail and see if there’s anything we can do to address the challenges you faced. Please reach out to us directly at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. We’re available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST Monday through Friday, but don’t hesitate to reach out anytime that’s convenient for you.
I could never ask for better service , I never had a concern from day one. Not on the first loan or on the refinance
The team members I worked with from Veterans United were amazing. Outstanding customer service. They made the home buying experience a smooth process and little to no worries on my end. They clearly communicated all updates during the home buying process which lead to a quick and smooth closing. I finally got the dream home I so long sought after.
Highly recommend! Having a team during this process made it much easier as a first-time home buyer. Thanks for everything!
I had an excellent experience with our home buying team. Everyone made sure any of my questions or concerns were answered immediately and were extremely helpful when it came to understanding the process.
Great team to work with overall. Home buying can be stressful, but this team made it a pleasant experience from start to finish! Kudos!
