This is my second loan with Veterans United and while I feel my Loan officer does a great job, the support of Veterans United and urgency is extremely lacking. My first loan was delayed due to the appraisal not getting done timely. My second loan I thought was going smooth until I got a call 12 hours before closing that we did not have the clear to close! When trying to reach out to after-hours and the escalation team I repeatdly heard that we cannot expedite the process! I would expect a company that supports Veterans to meet deadlines like I did for this country! There is no excuse for delays and Zero communication until it was too late. I do want to say that I had a pleasant experience with all the staff and they were all very nice, but this company is too big and does not understand my sacrifice to this country and the importance of closing on time.
I would recommend this company to anyone. They are amazing. Everything went smoothly because there is a whole team of people in constant communication with you along the way. The documents were easy to upload to the app or on my desktop. It was also very clear what you needed to do at each step. I can’t be happier with Veterans United.

We had a great experience and everything went smoothly. The todo lists were helpful and the team checked in on us periodically. They were also very responsive when we needed quotes while we were in the home shopping process.
