The whole mortgage refinancing was so easy. Matt actually contacted me and said the rates dropped and asked if I want to refinance to get a better rate. All went very smooth.
It was a challenge going thru the loan process with Veterans United. But, well worth the experience. The loan officers ( Kimberly and Amber) assigned to me made a complicated process seem like a walk in the park. LOL! There was tons of paperwork to docu-sign and a mountain of documents needed to prove who I was and inspections on my future home to assure the homes' safety and worth. In the end, I was approved for my dream home with an awesome 3.5% interest rate. Their assistance didn't end there. They made sure my dream home would not make me house-poor by keeping my debt-to-income ratio in line. I had to be debt-free (including credit cards) to make the numbers even out.
Even though I am not a veteran, Veterans United was very helpful. We were not able to qualify for a home loan when we first started dealing with Veterans United. Do to their persistence, their professionalism, and their expertise, everything worked out. It took
four months, but we were able to get a home loan and we closed on our home last week. We are so grateful.Thank you so much!

Everyone in my Veterans United group did a great job. My meaning of group is there were 4 people I could get a hold of if I had questions. Louie and Mike handled the loan and went above and beyond. We had a surprise issue 2 days before closing and we all worked together. The closing was only a day late.

They seem to care for the whole veteran and not just a number.
