I would definitely recommend VA loans. I am so surprised that I haven’t used it in a path. I’m very impressed with the service the way it was done and I will recommend out to any veteran. I say thank you
We were in a time bind to get representatives from other financial institutions to respond to our texts and calls about making an offer on and then financing the house we wanted to buy. Our buying agent had worked with Veterans United on several other occasions and with Jake Hanson, specifically, so she called and explained to him our struggle. Jake called us back within two hours, got the process started that evening, and we were well on our way to getting the paperwork completed by the end of the next day. While buying a home is almost always laced with frustrations and tense moments, Together, Jake and Veterans United were the one constant throughout the entire process. We will continue to do business with them and hopefully refinance once interest rates decline.

Well Dave Buchner was extremely disrespectful. He told me that VA United did not need my business. I was going to find a new Leander but already had some money tied up in the purchase of a home and was made clear some of it was not refundable. I truly felt that VA United would certainly treat me right being a disabled veteran were they pride them selves on helping veterans. They do not deserve the VA in there name. The crazy part is that in the end of loan i would have giving more that two and a half time the value of this home to them most businesses getting that much back should be a lot more courteous and respectful. Then after i purchased the home i was emailed twice about filling this review out. I was not going to leave one. After two emails and then a text message saying "We sent you a survey and if you could fill it out and give Dave a 10 " So i am not to sure if all there reviews in the past are true and accurate.

The monthly mortgage payment increased by nearly 100$ per month and the closing costs increased by1100$ on the day of closure. It was explained to me that it was the insurance. The insurance says that it was not them and that it was the loan entity, Veterans united. Not only did this increase happen on the proposed close date but because of the added closing costs I was unable to get the money to the realtor on that day. This set back my prepared move in by a week. I had to cancel trailer rentals and reschedule the help I was getting for the move. Up to this point I was very happy with the entire process and all the people involved. But the last day left me with a bad experience. The people involved from Veterans United did a great job.
We started our journey into homeownership over a year ago from Naples Florida. We began working with Jessica on credit repair and the basics of loan applications. She made all the necessary steps clear and easy to understand from begging. We moved to Pennsylvania and found a home we fell in love with! Jessica and her team walked us through everything and explained every step of the way. There were a few obstacles in our journey which resulted in the need to change loan types a few times. Our Veterans United team worked tirelessly to make sure everything was in place, they adapted quickly to all the changes that were beyond our control to still achieve the ultimate goal, get us to closing and into our beautiful home. We would, and will recommend Veterans United to anyone looking to make their dream come true. We couldn't have wished for a better team. Kayla McCollum was my loan officer throughout the entire process, I am not sure who Scott is so please make sure she gets a 10 (outstanding) rating as well. Kayla and her team did an amazing job for me and my wife. They were with us every step of the way. Especially Madison Miskov. She was on the ball every step of the way.
