Will not be using Veterans United again. My loan officer, Kris Ball, made this a horrible first-time buying experience for us. He did a poor job of explaining things to us, especially during the week of closing. When asked if it was his job to explain the loan estimate numbers to us, he said “No” and that we should talk to the title company. When he actually did talk to us, he would try to talk over us and would barely let us finish a sentence before interrupting. We had to report him to a manager and had to have the manager explain the loan estimate numbers to us.

I was happy with the overall service, my only complaint would have been my previous loan officer not looking out for my best interest when it came to rates. After the initial quoted rate for the loan, I had an aprox 45 day wait until closing, during that time rates dropped quite enough to make a difference in my loan. I inquired several times and was told they don’t lock in rates until 30 days. After inquiring several more times even as rates began to rise again, I was told I was locked in, only to have him “recheck” and realize I was not locked in and I ended up having to pay half a point just to keep at the initial quoted rate. My initial loan officer left the company 2 days after this, I do believe his head was else where but that lack of paying attention, definitely cost me in the long run. Otherwise the process was well done.

I thought buying a home would be some huge kind-of scary big step, but the process was made super easy by those I worked with. I absolutely will recommend VU to other vets.

Fantastic. Everything went super smooth. EZ from pre approval in January to rate lock in July to closing end of September on our newly built beautiful home. Thank you for all your outstanding expertise. Veterans United does it right.

Great experience on both sides the loan team and the real estate team. Both of them kept us in the loop at all day definitely will be working this them in the future thank you for everything.

Great people to work with if you are looking to buy a house. I would highly recommend them all to my friends and family. Even people I don’t know if they asked who would I recommend. Rachel, Lauren, Kristin, Joe and the rest of the Veterans United team you were awesome!!!

My Veterans United was amazing and on the ball. They definitely have your back when it comes to buying a home.

Veterans United was amazing and my team did an excellent job with communication and working with me.

My Veterans United team was PHENOMENAL!! Team leader, Louie Nieman, never ceased to amaze me with his knowledge of home buying in my state. He, also, has a wonderful mixture of business and compassion.
THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING, TEAM VU‼️

I highly recommend Veterans United Home Loans to anyone seeking to get out of the rent trap and own their own home. No matter your situation they will go above and beyond to make ownership your reality. They did for me. Now I'm building equity for me. Not, a greedy landlord. Contact them. You have nothing to lose and much to gain. If there's a way, they'll find it. Great people, service, and mortgage loans. Especially if your a Veteran.

Everything was super smooth, Aaron and the whole team with VU has been absolutely amazing to work with! I love all the signing we’re able to do online; that made closing day SO much faster! And we loved our gifts that randomly showed up! It made us feel appreciated! Thank for everything! We have already referred 3 more people to Aaron; and we know for sure 1 of them will be going through him as soon as he’s able to!

everything worked out perfectly and was treated very well. I appreciate all the help with the people i was with

We appreciate having the VA to help us through buying a home. It is a crazy process and we were glad to have all the people working to make it easy for us.

Paul is amazing!! He made the process so easy. If I ever had any questions he always took the extra time to answer them. He explained every step of way, which is perfect for a first time home buyer!! Plus he has a pretty awesome beard!! Thank you all so much for the perfect home buying experience. Wonderful team!

I've never bought a house before. It's a totally new and frankly horrifying idea. Hunter, Lori, charlie, Maddi, and others turned it from horrifying to down right pleasant. They where knowledgeable, professional, always there, they celebrated our highs, and helped us though the depressing lows.Hunter, our loan officer was a rock, always there with knowledge, advice, and suggestions.Lori, our concierge like wise was a rock, every Morning they'd check in, Lori would give updates and make jokes. Turning bad days into good.Madi didn't come in until much later in the process but when she did, she brought a new wave of knowledge. she was invaluable for turning complicated stuff with the underwriting into simple concepts we could understand. The whole team, was amazing. I literally can't say enough good things about them.If this was a typical deal with how you treat people, you'll always have my business. What's more any veteran I ever hear wanting to buy a home, will instantly be referred to hunter and his team by me.In the end, people make experiences either good or bad, it's the difference between a good experience a bad experience and something more.Hunter and his team, knocked it out the park and turned it into something more. For that I will always be thankful.Whenever I see my house I'll always be reminded of Veteran's united, and my team that went above and beyond the call of duty to help me.
