Working with VU has been a pleasure. This is the 2nd time to make a VA purchase with VU. Mike Lyman and his team was tremendous. Their expertise and willingness to answer questions and provide information is unequaled. They are simply the best.
The whole process from getting approval to closing on our house was incredibly easy. Working with Veterans United was such a positive experience and helped to put all of our worries as ease. Our Loan Officer was extremely informative and always positive when we spoke. She always went above and beyond to answer any questions we had. Even though we didn't need to, I still watched all of the videos on the VU website about the whole home buying process. I would definitely recommend watching those even if you've bought a house before! I can't imagine using a different loan company. An absolute 5 star experience!!

Double thumbs up.Notes:1 thing I disliked is a last day change to cash to close. $600 pest treatment catch put on me, but VU gave some credits on top worth 3x that. So, I’m pleased overall.1 thing I would do different is scrutinize the hell out of the initial estimate with every line item and understand how it aligns to the deal. That makes my decisions thereafter better informed. I did not do this as well with frequent late nights and not enough time away from work and the rest of the life transition going on all in parallel, and possibly suffered from it. Not a fun time for me, but glad for this team.
The team worked together in excellence and moved quickly. I’m very thankful for everyone involved.
